I just finished watching this vintage B&W episode, Diana Rigg in all her 60's glory.
The first series has just started on True Entertainment which is on Freeview, Virgin and Sky.

yes the EmmaPeelers, she wears them most episodes. Has to be one of my all time favourite programmes, in no small part down to Diana Rigg. She wears some great costumes, leotards, short skirts, catsuits, leather. Some great guest stars every week, including top 60s/70s TV totty such as Valerie Leon, Wanda Ventham, Carole Cleveland, Liz Fraser. And top actors like John Cleese, Glynn Edwards, Bernard Cribbins, Peter Cushing.

I think the first series starred Honor Blackman as " Cathy Gale " .......Diana Rigg appeared in a later series , Ian Hendry was also cast in the lead role, with Patrick Macnee as " Steed " as his assistant

Series 1 was just the guys - Macnee and Ian Hendry. They realised they needed girls in action roles. Blackman started it but then left to be in Goldfinger, so Diana Rigg came in for Seasons 3-5, then the under-rated Linda Thorson came in for the final season at Tara King. But the Emma Peel episodes are the best -Rigg is top drawer (and can act) and had excellent chemistry with Macnee

Linda Thorson as Tara King had a tough act to follow Diana Rigg and never really got the credit, but she did well in her own way

One of those very early episodes was, believe it or not, set in a potbank.
Or I am finally losing my mind
