There was always a worry that when a transfer window opened we might lose a blue chip player or two and for sure, we have some now.
The club whilst not spending expansively does not now seem to be the selling club of old however more, preferring to give new contracts to well appreciated assets
which of course, is good.
and long may this continue !
To then look at impending incoming moves in and around the media such as the 25 year old German centre half and, yet another lad from Barcelona, leads me to
become very optimistic about the direction our club is taking with players coming in to strengthen us even more.
Good players - football players who hopefully will sign with real potential to be realised over time - with real sell on values and such approaches will force other good
players already with us to settle in even more
whilst we build and strengthen
tis looking very good if we can continue to bring in such players - for sure
cup is very much half full here right now

Indeed Yes man
I wonder ,also, how well we might have done if we hadn't been plagued by key injuries all season, Odemwingie being a major loss
The fact that we no longer seem to sell our key assets like we used to is very encouraging, especially Shawcross and Bego who have been an absolute rock for the club

It's essential that we keep Hughesy and sign him up for another long term contract for us to keep progressing.

We aren't a selling club anymore but we're going to find it very hard to keep hold of Shawcross. If nobody comes in for him in January they certainly will in the summer

I have faith in 'Mark and the team' to bring in some decent signings in the next 2 windows and I think we'll not only finish this season strongly but start next season a lot better than this. Wingie will be like a new signing, I feel sure he'll return, maybe another Barca player as well? I haven't felt this optimistic about our potential in years.

We now have a very good squad that's not in need of major improvement . One or two signings a season of good young talent should suffice

For me its the Yes album which, is the best album amongst some other wonderful albums
perhaps onme of the ten best albums of all time in my book (67/100) in the musical press
but its all about opinion
I mean just look at the tracks:
Yours is no disgrace Clap Starship tropper Iseen all good people A venture Perpetual change
no 'filler' there -that's for sure
