We really need to rest a few with the busy schedule we've had. I'm not sure on everyone's fitness but I'd go with
..........................Butland........................
Bardsley........Huth.........Wilson......Muni
.................Adam.............Shenton...........
Walters................Ireland...............Assaidi
.............................Crouch.......................
Let's not forget who were playing the above should be more than good enough to win.

They've got a week I'd play Shawcross over Wison. Is Shenton a deep lying player I'd expected a number 10!?
Also the lack of pace in that team is astounding, should play Assaidi or someone I guess. give SJW a rest

We may as well get one last game out of Mame before the ACON, and make Palacios earn his money occasionally!

I'd like to see Shenton. He's obviously showing glimpses of being ready in training to even get on the bench.

See who is fit when they turn up on Sunday and pick the strongest team available minus Ryan Shawcross.
Give all the lads that have featured prominently over the Christmas and New Year period 3 days off after the game on Sunday and tell them to report back to the club on Thursday 8th January.

We have momentum from our last few games, I would only tweak the team not completely change it.

We have momentum from our last few games, I would only tweak the team not completely change it. I would normally agree, but based upon the amount of fixtures in such a short space of time I just don't think that would be a good idea. Keep 4/5 first teamers i.e. muniesa, whelan, walters, diouf (if he hasn't left for ACON) and then use the squad.

Butland
Bardsley Huth Muniesa Wilson
Cameron Whelan
Arnautovic Adam Assaidi
Walters
Subs Sorensen, Pieters, Palacios, Shenton, Ireland, Diouf, Crouch
I'd rest Begovic, Shawcross and N'Zonzi completely, the rest of the 1st team regulars I'd have on the bench.

Can you pay on the day for this game? Yes Are you sure? Has this been officially announced? I would have thought the club would be wary of doing this if Wrexham have sold out.

Shawcross will start, you can't leave your captain out.
Ollie Shenton from the bench if we are comfortably winning with 20 mins to go.
Walters will start and be man of the match.
Noticed Wilson seemed to be doing a full warm up today at HT, thought he may have come on for Pieters. Muniesa at left back for this one so he can attack. Bojan to have another weeks rest./recovery.
Butland Bardsley. Shawcross. Wilson. Muniesa Adam. Sidwell Walters. Assaidi Arnautovich Diouf
4-0
Half time pie please. they ran out today at 13:15 - disgraceful, sort it out Sparky.

Mame will play up top I'd think as he's off to ACON next week. Ireland hasn't been involved for a while, and I don't think he's injured any more. I'd actually be tempted to keep Arnie in to give him a boost and keep him going, but I reckon Assaidi will start over him. Id play Charlie over Whelan for this one. Can't see us needing the defensive shield too much so an attacking midfield set up could make way for a nice confidence boosting win. Shawcross needs to stay in and it's a toss up between Huthy and Wilson to partner him. I've gone for Huth but it's one or the other. Who else could play left back other than pieters? Bardsley will probably come back in to get him up to speed, and Butland is the obvious pick for in nets. Is Bojan definitely out for this one? I know he wouldn't start anyway but he'd be useful off the bench if we're struggling to break them down. Butland Bardsley Huth Shawcross Pieters Nzonzi Adam Walters Ireland Assaidi Diouf Bench: Sorro Wilson Shenton Arnie Crouch Cameron Muniesa

Why wouldn't Shenton start this? Granted he's only 17 but I'd like to think he wouldn't be too out of his depth against conference opposition. Ideal opportunity to give the youngster a run out!

Thats the team i think Hughes will put out.Muniesa got an injury today and at one point looked like he was coming off so i reckon he'll miss the game.

"Fresh for Sunday"? Should it make the slightest of difference if our players whoever selected play to even 50% it should be enough, not arrogance just reality. We've seen what we've done to teams even in the championship let alone conference in the fa cup in recent seasons

We've seen over the last couple of seasons that Hughes isn't afraid to reward good performances in the cup. Muniesa, Assaidi and more recently Bojan have all managed to force themselves into the first team on the back of good cup performances. Hopefully the likes of Butland, Huth, Assaidi, Ireland, Adam and Shenton will be itching to prove that they are worthy of a first team spot.
