Because it was a joke. A joke? I tell you what, why not print the very same 'joke' in your next match day edition? Your readers will be be in fits of laughter. I think some of the 'Lords and Masters' of this message board need to get a grip. Recent posts regarding child abuse, and now suicide, all seem to come under the banner of comedy and freedom of speech. Cue the messages saying that its all harmless fun. Ask yourself if a former manager would find it amusing? It's a football message board, things may offend you. Tough.

So in future no pics of footballers on this football forum please if you don't mind highly offensive.

Extremely disappointed to hear about the severity of Bo's injury, but I'd rather we didn't rush him back with a muscle injury. We did that with Moses and look what happened. Short term loss for long term gain. Who suggested that Bojan's injury was "severe?" I said 'severity'. A measure of how bad the injury is. i.e he will be ruled out of the game tomorrow. It's severe enough to result in that.

In my 12 years of logging on to this site, this has got to be one of the most extraordinary threads ever, as in replies to what I would class as a joke, tbh, a bit of a crap joke which I don't quite get because I am a thick person, if he said it in public, he might just have got a soggy banana and a rotted veg bag thrown at him. Why does this evolve to an issue?, its really pathetic, there are far more serious things happening in life, my year has been poor with my dad being sick, but if someone made a joke about the illnesses he had endured, I would just simply brush it aside, because life happens This sanctimonious attitude is really annoying, and so Pretty Little Boother...imo u have done nothing wrong, so I wish u a happy new year, and happy new year to the rest of you

Perhaps there's an advantage in not declaring that he is fit to play, until the lastest possible time.
Let's not overlook the obvious.

It's called "gallows humour", happens to also be what the Fanzine that is the parent of this website is best at, the fanzine is more comforting in the darker days than the times we dare to hope right? Because with dark humour comes solace. Who remembers the Smartie attached to all editions of the fanzine for one of the Vale games back in the 90's? A 'suicide pill to be taken in the event of the unthinkable'! It was funny right? Genius in fact, made the national press. It didn't send folks off to top themselves, laugh at your predicament and you feel better about it. Sad music, the blues it cheers you up...you don't want to listen to Pharrell Phucking Williams when you are feeling down right? Lovers leave and friends will let you down But you're the only sure thing that I've found No matter what I do I'll never lose My old friend the blues I agree with everything you've posted gods, but I think the 'suicide pills' were saccharin tablets weren't they?

Yes good news. The rest should do him good and hopefully he will be fresh and fired up for Arsenal. Let's hope he plays as well as he did last time and doesn't get a goal wrongly ruled out this time.

Yes, ely, they were and it took the lads at Oatcake HQ an age to attach the 'pills' to each and ever copy of the fanzine for that first meeting in over 32 years.
