There have been those on here who have suggested Ryan isn't vocal enough to be skipper but contrary to that, I believe he has matured into a superb leader and he has all the attributes I would look for in a captain.

I remember reading on here a few years ago how Terry was a cunt for always being in the ref's ear. Obviously that's a load of shite, it's what they should be doing as captains.
He IS a cunt though.

He certainly made Mason very aware that there was sufficient cover after Walters upended Baines.

They're the only one really allowed to do it. Not a bad thing at all - similar laws apply in Rugby Union & League. Only they address the ref as Sir, too. Just think, "Lee Mason, Sir"!
