The media seem intent on carrying this one through. They are like vultures. Ok they are having a poor spell but is it the time to panic?
'West Brom are not expected to make an announcement on Monday about the future of manager Alan Irvine.'
How ridiculous is this as a headline!

utter shit. apart from being a bit light weight up front I thought west brom looked quite good at times yesterday. they do love their little witch hunts the media and then when somebody does get sacked they are the first to slag off the club that sacked them. I would say west brom are only a couple of players short of a pretty good team and that could be easily sorted out in January if they don't panic.

The problem is he had the entire away following vocally on his back yesterday. That will make Peace a little uneasy to say the least and the media love a good fans revolt.

The whole problem with West Brom is that they have a chairman who does absolutely everything on the cheap. They obviously dont have a recruitment policy say like ours where we root out good players for little outlay. They dont seem to have any empathy with the fans ie the shocking way they treated the daughter of Jeff Astle. Their board seem to make scapegoats out of managers to justify their own shortcomings.

They are currently 16th in the league so as far as I can see Irvine isn't even underachieving as West Brom manager, can they honestly expect to be much higher in the league table with the squad they have at their disposal? Personally I think if Irvine finishes 17th or higher this season then he'll have done a respectable job.

It's clearly not a great job to have in the first place. It was disappointing to hear Baggies fans on Irvine's back yesterday. I hope he is given more time. I heard mention (from some of their fans) that Tim Sherwood was being lined up to take over. He will definitely take them down. The funniest one of all was the mention of TP for the job. The irony of an appointment like that would have me laughing well into 2016!

When the media tires of trying to get Irvine sacked, they'll move on to the next manager of a struggling team. My money is on Steve Bruce being next for the rounds.

They certainly were not the worst team I have seen at the Brit this season.

They certainly were not the worst team I have seen at the Brit this season. No, too often that has been Stoke. :-)
