Firstly i like Crouch and he has played a huge part in becoming what we are.
Unfortunately for him times move on,every time we win away without him we bring him back for the next home game.
Result being the opposing team push up knowing he cannot run past them, thus compressing play in the middle of the park and reducing space for Bojan,.
Shoving Diouf up front forces defenders back 15 yards and gives bojan more space,am i wrong?

Form. Crouch is a bit cold at the moment. Diouf for me.

We all know that Crouch is slow. What worries me is that over the last few games his passing and touch have been awful. He is struggling to do the basics.

He has been a massive part of our progress, however I think his time wth us is coming to an end. We have moved on, with counter attacking football, the silky skills of Bojan Moses and Arnie who are sometimes one step ahead of PC. In no way am I having a dig because he is a model pro and as I say has been a top player. Today and his latest few games though have looked liked we have gone back 2 years at times. He is out of form we need to keep Diouf up top.

3 weeks ago we were beating Arsenal 4-0 with Crouch playing really well. I think you have to be more selective when he plays, certain games suite him better.

Like most things in life , you know when it's time to call it a day.
For Stoke and Crouchy , then I reckon about 12 months time.

I think half the problem is that you don't find out the game is 'not for him' until he's in there, and not having a sniff. So, in games like today he offers little, shows up weak, doesn't win his aerial battles, and looks poor.
I think he's got a place still, but for me, we need to invest in his replacement now.

He didn't even look slightly arsed today. Doubt he'll be with us next season.

In answer to your point , I don't know when his contract expires , but suffice to say that Hughes will make the crucial decision when called upon. I deoibrately won't mention Sidibes last 4 years ".....
