I was at the Vale listening to it on earphones and got some right looks walking away from the ground when I shouted "get in" when the final whistle went.

You were where , have you lost a bet or something or are you in a festive mood, giving to charity seems to be feature of the festive period, I wouldn't give those cunts the time of day let alone one penny of my money disgusting behaviour now go have a steam bath and give your head a wobble.

Don't know how old Stokesaint1 is but many older Stokies also supported the Vale in our youth going to watch them when Stoke were away and we couldn't afford the travel. I openly admit to being one of them in the 60s going with my Vale fan mate (he still is).

Perhaps in the 60's where free love was rampant , I have been to Vale Park four times so far in my life all to watch the potters once against Middleborough (giving my age away), after the shit the ***** gave us for a brief period in the 90's I wish them nothing but ill, scummy scrounging tin pot outfit with deluded retarded supporters, pride of the potteries my arse, nothing but a bankrupt club living off council hand outs.

I often wonder why I never became a fully fledged Vale fan like my bezzy mate and I was outnumbered by them in my peer group at Wooly Grammar. Decided that it must be in my blood coming from a long family line of Stokies....my old man now in his 90s has supported them since 1930 and my long dead grandfather and his dad between them were Stokies from late 1880s. Still have a soft spot for Vale though and don't get where your "deluded supporters" cones from. I think they know who they are and what their capabilities are. Many of them despise us as some Stokies do them......Nowt wrong with that as rival clubs in the same city but I'm not one of them.

Fortunately for you do not have to live amongst them, many still spout the pride of the potteries to this day, if that is not a clue to being deluded well I don't know what is, for some reason most like to talk about Stoke rather than their own little club especially when we lose even if they win , I have a nice soft spot for them a huge marl hole on Werrington common, as for rivals in the same city, if the council had not bailed them out with tax payers money we would not have two professional clubs in the same city, it is an unsustainable business and should as many others including the likes of Doulton, Wedgwood, Spode etc etc have been left to their own devices with the inevitable outcome, no public money used to assist these national institutions all a massive part of our social history, Port Vale a disgrace to Stoke-on-Trent in general, black and gold until they fold

Vale fans are what they are, a community of people supporting a club that happens to be second best in the Potteries. If they think they are the pride of the Potteries then just have a chuckle and let them crack on. Fans can't be blamed for how the club has evolved with council grants etc much the same as we supported Stoke City during the dark days of Icelandic ownership. Also don't forget we were originally joint owners of the Brit before we bought the shares on the cheap, for £6m, from council ownership to own it outright where many other clubs have gone 10s of millions into debt doing this. What's the monetary value of Britannia Stadium today?

Yes indeed well done lads.
We need begovitch to start taking command of his area to get more team sheets. May be a great shot stopper, but to be honest his command of the area is woeful and needs to improve in 2015. He needs to come out and catch or punch clear more often.

What's the monetary value of Britannia Stadium today? I am fairly certain that the council actually made a profit on the sale of the Brit to the club, the grants etc.(hand outs more like) the council have given to Port Vale on the other hand have been written off as a bad debt, how pray tell does that equate to our situation regarding tax payers money , it has become obvious over the past seven years that they are unsustainable as a business twice into administration is no accident, I beg to differ regarding their so called fans, the fans also must shoulder some of the blame boycotting their own club when they were most needed, whether you agree or not that hardly helped the financial situation(black and gold etc.) thus I believe the council should have stopped throwing public money at a lame duck business and let it take the natural course, as they have done with many local business's quite rightly so.
