It never ceases to amaze me mate. Any other 'local' station would be all over the high profile prem team with limited coverage of the lower league teams.

It's a viscous circle. Less and less Stoke supporters listening means less calls means less listening etc etc. Hopefully some dire figures may waken the people in charge up - I get the impression the top people at the station have no interest in sport whatsoever and just let them get on with it.

TBF (and I don't know of they are deliberately rejecting Stoke fans calls, if so they are wankers!) if no Stoke fans are calling in and Vale fans are after their win (they don't get many) then I suppose they can only speak about Vale, couple that with the show having to be presented by Lee Blakeman not Sandoz then he will be able to speak more about the game he has watched!

Crewe need to fuck off onto a completely different station. Despite them supposedly being a local team I have genuinely never met a crewe fan.

I worked at a large Crewe business, employing over a 1000 people and knew of only 2 genuine Crewe fans, however there were loads who claimed to support Crewe and Manure or Liverpool, who only went when things were going well

I may be mistaken as i was driving in the snow in North Wales at the time and was losing signal but as far as i am aware Nige didnt mention injury time until he said we were in the third of four minutes Nige has been a brilliant ambassador fior our club, especially in the old days when were were bumming round the lower leagues I can only listen know as an absolute last resort

Do Crewe fans actually exist? Or are a group of people employed to go and watch them every week?.

I've met Crewe fans in Crewe but can't ever recall seeing one bodding about these parts, whereas Valeites seem to wear their colours with pride especially in Stoke City heartlands.

I was on a bus from Tunstall to Boslem and saw a Crewe fan. I live on the southside of the city so maybe in Tunstall and Burslem where I'm sure you get people visiting from the likes of Alsager and Biddulph, and maybe even visiting from Crewe, it's not uncommon to have the Crewe supporters showing off their allegiance in the same way that valeites in Stoke City areas seem to make an effort to show their colours. But I can't ever recall seeing a Crewe fan bodding about in Trentham or Blurton or Oakhill, etc. Would be intrigued to know how many Crewe supporters there are living in The Potteries, my guess would be significantly less than 100!

I used to live in Biddulph. I have never seen or spoke to a Crewe fan anywhere ever. A bit like the Loch Ness monster or the Tooth Fairy Just a myth
