If he's got his back to goal, he'll do nowt.
If our little wizard can send him chasing through the channels he might do something useful.
Our Bony/Lukaku figure he ain't so we have to use him properly...

I think his pace will come in very handy today. We'll get chances, no question.

If he just put himself about with defenders hed create quite alot for himself That's something he doesn't do enough of. He's a powerful bloke, he should be using his strength a lot more to bully defenders. There's a tidy player in there somewhere.

Maybe a game for Walters down the middle with Diouf and Bojan playing off him.Sacrificing 2 wingers who lets face it,at the moment our wide men aren't contributing a whole lot.Midfield 3 of Whelan,Cameron and Nzonzi.Everton are going to want to pass the ball around a lot,we need to stop this,3 central midfielders could be the way to go

Much as I hope we get something out of this game. I just cannot see it, but would absolutely love to be proved wrong!

He needs a confidence boost and to be picked in the same position for a game or two. If he doesn't perform then it is unlikely he ever will, but constantly changing position doesn't help.

I didn't rate him today, didn't seem very clinical on the ball. Seems to be a better sidibe, his work rate is great, just a little rusty to say the least

It's true he works hard but he's there to score goals and that's not happening. He doesn't look at all composed in 1 on 1's with the keeper. Odd considering his record in Germany.

Apart from the the good +the great, The Bundesliga is shit. Lower Championship at best. That said, Diouf just needs a couple of goals to galvanise him to better things.

How long is it going to take for that couple of goals, though? He just doesn't seem to create enough chances and when he does he,more often than not, fluffs his lines.

Exactly, half a season through and he doesn't seem up to the standard we were expecting. How much I'd love a fit Odemwingie up front. I reckon with Odem's finishing he'd be nearly on double figures by now

Disagree, thought he was average today, did some good tracking back but not a lot else, seem to tire badly come the end (not a mark against hi for that though).

Doesn't seem to get in positions to score. Thought he worked hard today but struggled to have any telling impact on the game.
Maybe a month in the Africa cup of nations will give him some confidence & come back a better player.

He looked pish today. As I've said before he is the new bryan small, all legs and the touch of a Japanese axe murderer. He'd be good on strictly come dancing.
