They're allowed to lose a game every 20 or so I suppose! yeah except to read this thread you would conclude we never had an earthly and yet 2 clubs in Newcastle and Sunderland who I guess we would like to think we are on a par helped themselves to 4 points between them on Chelsea's last 2 trips on the road. Not saying we should have got anything out of the game only that we could. You keep pedalling this mate, so what's your real point? Of course we COULD if got something - LIKE WE DID LAST SEASON - but on the night we weren't good enough. They were simply better in all departments. Results like Sunderland and Newcastle happen 3 or 4 times a season for teams like Chelsea, not every week - that's why they win titles.

Very, very good team. The only disappointment with them Is the constant surrounding of the ref. How Terry doesn't get booked for running 60 yards to complain to the ref every time is beyond me . This, and the constant time wasting when they're ahead. They're masters at it. Courtois put every free kick 15 yards ahead of where it should be on purpose, took his time, argued a little with the linesman, then pulled it back. Also Costa leaving the pitch like a pensioner when subbed. Absolutely pathetic. I would respect them a lot more (they are a very good team) if they lost the snidey cheating.

They're a very good team with excellent players all over the park.
Thought we matched them for long periods last night though.

They're a very good team with excellent players all over the park. Thought we matched them for long periods last night though. They saw it out pretty comfortably though didn't they, like the class outfit they are. The early goal was just a killer for us and though we did well to get ourselves back in the game and gave everything, we just didn't have enough to truly threaten them. I think their reaction at the end though would suggest that they're more than delighted by getting three points at Stoke. Like WD says, they'll win the title easily.

At 1-0 we were well in the game (although I concede that Chelsea weren't at their best). Had we have scored in our most productive spell we could have got a draw but maybe they might have found another gear. For the first 20 minutes or so of the second half an equaliser would have been deserved in my opinion, Dave. They are a bloody storing team though and overall I was pleased with our performance.

Good performance last night from Stoke, nothing to worry about this season RE; relegation.Although i do disagree with the many comments on this thread saying Chelsea will win the league easily.Far to early to dismiss Man City(who i think will still win it),Jan 31st will be a massive game when Chelsea play Man City at Stamford Bridge.Unless Chelsea are 6 points clear after that fixture i believe Man City will win it again.

They just seem to cruise games and tonight rarely got out of 2nd gear. I saw it you saw and every pundit in the media networks ie radio, TV and written press say how good and professional they were but one hack on here thinks they were average mate Oh well eh They only needed to be average, that was the point. Average and we failed to turn up. Edit - the media this the media that, fook me you're sounding as though you're feeling the pressure.
