We made them work, they had another gear when we needed it and I only wished I'd put some cash on the 2-0 I'd predicted.
Now, can we start beating some shit sides please? It's not much to ask.

I hope Chelski go on and win it now, I don't mind them or their fans to be honest.

Trouble with that is there aren't too many "shit" sides coming up, not in the next 4 games anyway. Everton away, Manchester United and Arsenal away, only winnable one is WBA who are on about a par with us, things may get worse before they get better IHMO.

Mourinho is a good manager as well, completely drowned out any Bojan threat with numbers
They have the best back four in the league, along with Matic sitting just in front of them we would have needed some insane amount of luck or insane amount of skill to come out of tonight with anything
All in all we did alright, we got at them at least, i would have given my right arm for Odemwingie tonight

This current Chelsea are Stoke taken to the nth degree. Best team in the league by a long shot, and a shoe-in for winning it this season.

Gods...I think a few are missing the point...there aren't really any shit sides and, as you have said for some time, this Christmas/New Year run will push us further down towards the danger zone before, hopefully, things pick up. Trouble is will they pick up after a poor run...poor runs can be hard to escape from. I think if we are still on 19 points after the Arsenal fixture, we are in for a tough time...after all it would mean having lost at home to WBA...5 home defeats before the turn of the year.

I have never accepted the premise of "shit" sides only "super-sized" clubs and everyone else, in truth we really made a complete horlicks of a benign fixture list at the start of the season and it was almost inevitable that when this round of brutally tough games came up we would flirt with the bottom 3. I still truly believe we can and will start to pull away after the next Arsenal game but there are some sticky moments coming up of that I am certain.

I guess all the negativity comes from being a Stoke supporter and having gone through those years of despair and hoping to Christ they don't come back all too soon. That and the prospect of the 'United' fan gunning for Arsenal this season who finds himself always wanting the 'big club' to triumph over all others and can't understand why I don't watch Motd when Stoke lose waiting to mention tonight's defeat tomorrow at work(and it's the works Christmas do)...and people wonder why I stress about football!
