Shows how much he's feared when mourinho fielded a team with 2 defensive midfielders and both of them got back to make it difficult for us to break them down, with either one of them tracking Bojan at all times.
It was good tactics from them. We played well but equally I don't think we can complain too much about being beaten by a better side.

Still thought he was our best player overall when on the ball. Muniesa should have won MOTM, but going forward, he was a cut above every other Stoke player.

Excellent again. I'd have liked to have seen him and Arnie play closer together. They both had two players close to them all game and were clearly identified as the threat by Mourinho. That should have created space for others but never did.

Outnumbered by the chelski midfield. Did well considering.

I'd have liked to have seen him and Arnie play closer together. This there were a few touches that said they were on the same wave length. Thought arnie had a better game but with no pace up front the game was so compact.

I can't be objective about Bojan, but I will say he was much harder to knock off the ball and kept possession well. One more indication he is sussing the English game.

Made some good breaks and passed the ball well. We knew from Southampton in the cup where he took four shit corners in a row that it isn't his strongpoint, not sure what MH is thinking on this, when Charlie is taking them we look far more dangerous.

Best attacking player in our side by a country mile. Watched the game again tonight & he rarely lost possession & regularly put us on the attack.
Absolute fucking class.

Tried to hard tonight. Lost the ball to often, but still by far the most creative player in our team. Exactely. Tried to much alone and missed to pass at the right time....but still our greatest threat. Free kicks an corners were terrible!!!...i´m not a friend of chiping the ball into the penalty are

Played against an ultra defensive side who closed the game down it was an awful game to watch. To be fair they are very good at slowing a game down and stopping players from playing. He was the brightest player we had last night worked his socks off and showed some fine touches and was a whisker away from a goal.

He found it difficult to get in the game.
Jose played Mikel and Matic and stopped him getting the ball.
When he did find some space he looked dangerous without anything really coming off for him on the night.

Very tough opposition with all players having a very difficult task to perform well.
Bojan (and Arnie) retaining confidence is a key for him and the club - this result should not be seen as a major setback - Chelsea were the better side, deserved their win, although their goals were disappointing from our point of view.
In fact they had better chances to score , one in particular where Begovic came to our rescue
We need to move on and MH needs to consider our options for the Everton game .
Hopefully we can be more alert from the kick off and Bojan can have more opportunities to be involved in our play

The only Stoke player who looked like making anything happen. The number of times he was given the ball with two men on him and no space and dropped his shoulder, went past them and found a team mate was incredible. Special talent.

I don't understand all this jizzing over Bojan last night..from where I sat it looked like there was very little end product..Yes he is a class act, very skilful, but he seemed to give the ball quite a bit and his corners were awful. Credit where credits due but Ryan & N'Zonzi were our stand out players last night.

Bojan is fast becoming the new Arnie..he just cannot do anything wrong according to some. Were you sat behind a wall? As has been mentioned on this thread, some of his touches when receiving the ball in tight areas were simply sublime. Was the ball he put in for Walters in the first half not classed as "end product"? That chance falls to any half decent striker and Bojan's got an assist to his name. He was carrying our attack last night and apart from when Adam came on he was the only player likely to produce anything for us.

Bojan was very skilful and looked good on the ball but never threatened Chelsea. He was carrying our attack because SJW & Crouch were largely anonymous but he never looked as dangerous as Charlie (The Beast2 ) when he came on. Similar story at Palace.

They planned their line up to nullify him and it largely worked. Not seen Matic over a full game and he was outstanding, no surprise their only defeat came with him in the team. You would hope that others would exploit the gaps left by marking Bojan but Walters and Arnie out wide just didn't have enough pace against their full backs and the left back was wise to Walters after getting done last year.
Bojan's own performance was patchy by his recent high standards (understandably so given above) but along with Adam he looked the only chance of producing something.
With Moses and Wingie out wide it would have been a lot more threatening. Bugger.

Did I imagine the chance he created for Walters and the shot just wide at the end? There were also numerous occasions he played Arnie, Walters and Bardsley into decent crossing positions with quick passes. The little reverse pass he played to Nzonzi in the box second half was also sublime but like every other opportunity it was wasted by a poor cross. Some people need to have a serious reality check, he's not going to tear through the opposition every time he gets the ball, he's not going to score every time he gets near the box, especially when he's up against two superb holding midfielders. He's still adapting to the English game and he's doing a bloody good job of it.

There were a couple of times he opened up space for us when he had no right to. Brilliant feet and movement with literally no room to move.
