Away to the Premiership Potters... Following this evening's draw for the FA Cup third round, we will face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium. What a great draw for the club and supporters - pairing together two of the oldest professional clubs in the world - of 300 years of history between the pair of us. But it;s the modern connects that are relevant to most - Dan Bachmann (who can't play against his parent club under FA Cup rules), Louis Moult, Mark Hughes, Eddie Niedzwiecki (who was only back in Wrexham last week for John Neal's funeral), John Walters and Mickey Thomas - to name but a few. It's an easy trip to make for Wrexham supporters and we get the chance to visit a Premier League ground - that'll do nicely. Like the excellent Maidstone United fans on Saturday, this will be our chance to back the team to the hilt and make sure everyone knows - "Wrexham is the Name!" Read more at www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/

Balls to their financial state. It's their mess, let them deal with it. Infact, I'd charge them to park their coach aswell. And they can pay if they want a hot shower too. Welsh fuckers. Season of goodwill ? Not to those bastards. They hate us more than the Scots do. Absolute drivel. They hate Chester for sure. Never anything other than a good day out there. North Wales mentality is much more easy going than most places.

I believe Louis Moult has been on the subs bench lately. So I've been told, that is!

Who said that the romance of the cup is dead LOL It may be financially advantageous for us to pay for their away travel. 4,800 Wrexham fans in the away end would make for a good tie

It would have been a good away tie, but it will be a limp affair at home, a bit of a shame in all truth.

That a nice pay day for Wrexham as well. Are FA cup gate receipts split 50/50? We should give them all of it. why? We dont owe anyone.when we were on our arse playing in the 3rd div did anyone give us a helping hand? Besides even with reduced prices it will be a lowish croud so by the time they have deducted expenses there wont be that much to share out?

It won't make a difference to us, financially, but probably would to them. Great PR for the club too.

When we got drawn at home, do you think loads of fans of other teams were saying "not us not us" I know we've lost 3 at home but still no one likes coming to the Brit!

When I said "limp" I didn't necessarily mean we would win the tie, only that apart from the Wrexham fans in attendance it will feel like a very low key affair played out in front of a half empty ground. Were it at their place I would expect full house, a big following of Stoke fans out on a great big bingo and the TV cameras in attendance salivating at the thought of a major upset! It would have felt like a great FA Cup day, exactly what this competition should be all about in the early rounds. At our place I am just not sure it will.

Anyone remember our Autoglass game at their place in 1993,think we won 2-0(can't remember who scored our goals) but i do recall the team wore a really mixed up kit that night,From my quick fading memory it was yellow top and purple shorts.

Hi everyone, Wrexham fan here, go easy on me ! Great draw for us though maybe you may disagree. We will fetch a large following for the game and will make it a decent atmosphere whatever the crowd. Some great names have graced both teams over the years so it's a great tie for us in our 150th year as a club. There is a few stoke fans here in Wrexham as well so the banter has well and truly started over this end. Hope the TV decide to show this as well as any extra income would be great as we desperately try and crawl back into the football league. Good to see you doing well this season and great to see sparky doing well also.

He's a good young keeper and done excellent for us, although we lost him for a while through injury. You have a good young keeper coming through there.

It will be a great occasion. I just hope the club make tickets as cheap as chips for everybody. I remember the old Racecourse Ground at Wrexham. Happy Days :-) We do have the potential of a large fan base but where we are at the moment makes it difficult to bring out the crowds, but we keep dreaming of a return to better things
