or even postponed. What happens? ???
Presumably if its delayed we get a very slight advantage, if postponed a possibly more of an advantage

if the games delayed presumably Hulls game would be dalayed too
in fact probably most of the division would as virtually every game impacts on someone elses season

I don't think it will give us any advantage even if it was delayed 45 minutes, might relieve our nerves if Hull are 3-0 down at half time though.

Didn't this happen in a game involving Coventry and relegation from the Premiership a few years ago.?
Somehow they managed to kick off after everyone else so that they knew the other results before the end of the game. Don't think anything happened to them as a result......

Mike Dean is from the Heswall in the Wirral.
He may yet be delayed due to having the eyes stolen out of his head by those lovable rogues, the Scousers.
And if he did, he'd still be better than Styles.

Perhaps lessons were learned from the Jimmy Hill/Coventry fiasco? Nowadays, the start is synchronised, although injuries dictate that they won't finish exactly together. I've been analysing our chances - for about the twentieth day in a row - and realise how against the odds for us not to be promoted. Not only must we lose but Hull would have to win at Portman Road, which only one club has done this season. There now. Don't you all feel better?

Wasn't this mentioned in the 02/03 season, when on the last day stoke and brighton were battling to stay in the division, we played Reading and Brighton played an already relegated team.
If I remember rightly there was an announcement that if our game was delayed then the kick off at Brighton's game would also be delayed so niether would gain an advantage.

The ref will start the game when sky tell him to do so. There will be no delay. Make sure you are in your seat for the kick-off or else you might miss our first goal. Oh and don't forget to scream, shout and sing your STOKE heart out.

In recent seasons there have been delays for one reason or another with games finishing more than 10 minutes apart. Ideal scenario is for ours to be delayed and the players come out to the news that Ipswich are 2 up !
