Sorry lads n ladies I meant Marvin Robinson. I remember going straight in to ambulance to Remember referring to him as "Marvellous" after the game. How ironic that word is now famous in stoke-on-trent

Always remember thinking that Marvin Robinson would have been some bloody player. He seemed to have everything in his locker He was some player. Wasn't he wearing a tag too? He was marvellous, strong, lithe, the sort of player who'd run through brick walls. I was so impressed with him. That leg break happened towards the Boothen end and I recall seeing him writhing in pain & his foot not moving. Horrific.

Wasn't it Steve McMahon that did it? 'Orrible bastard he was... It was Steve McMahon that did Zay Angola. He had been superb and McMahon deliberately took him out over on the touchline. Guy Branston did Marvin Robinson. Remember his mum coming onto the pitch to comfort him? As for the guy above who said Angola came back a different player, you're not wrong. He broke his leg as Zay Angola and came back as Jose Andrade :-)

Marvin is still around, plays currently for Hednesford, which is his 19th (!) club
Since the leg break match, he has played a further 197 games and scored 39 goals so not exactly "finished"
I though he collided with the Rotherham keeper when he broke his leg ?

Didn't the Rotherham player get shown a 'second yellow'then a red card earlier in the game, but the referee realised he had in fact only shown one yellow after Rotherham protested?
5 minutes later and he goes and breaks Robinson's leg.... And still doesn't get sent off!
I was only young then, so I may remember it wrong; but I wish there were videos of that team to show when anybody labels a modern top flight team dirty.
