I might stick a tenner on Balotelli to score anytime. He's bound to notch his first against us. If he plays it could be the balotelli v marko show? Cmon marko show us what you have, a full week of practising your crosses and nzonzis shooting will reap dividends

I tend to agree with a lot of the comments on here but hope im wrong, we seem to always let teams or players that havnt won/scored for a while end their streak,

This could really go either way. The 1st goal will decide it, I can't really see a draw but we do need to be "on it" from the first whistle.

They have to travel to Bulgaria and win on Wednesday night as well, this is a big bonus for us same as spuds, another massive bonus for us as we will have a week of training whilst they have to travel to bulgaria[and im hoping they have a nightmare journey back delays/thunderstorms/having to return to sofia for an emergency landing etc] anoyone notice how "other"teams get a home fixture after travelling to europe and we allways get stuffed with an away game?? thats three teams now hull, spurs, liverpool? or am i being paranoid?

3500 round trip for them this week, they won't get back until late Thurs. If we don't get something Sat then I'll be v disappointed.Surprised they didn't ask to have game put back to Sunday.Rogers will have to rest one or two and we need to take advantage. If we score first we will win.

Wonder if they go full strength tonight. Hope so.
One things for sure, it's a great time to own a candle shop in Merseyside.

It's a good question and the answer is yes. Whether we take advantage is another question.
Liverpool's current form isn't bad luck. They really aren't very good. No Suarez, Sturridge; Gerard on the slide, Henderson and Sterling both showing their true colours ie they can look good in a supporting role for Suarez bit when the lead performer ain't there they ain't good enough to step up into that role. The manager doesn't have a clue. Morale is poor. They are a mess. They are also playing an important away game in Europe tonight which is always a problem for teams the following Saturday.
If we play well we have a great chance of getting a win there. Never been able to say that before!

Great match to bounce back and continue the form we were in before the Burnley game. Take it to them and we've got this, after that, I'm not sure we'll take anything from at least 4 out of the next 5!!

Just conceded equaliser in 88th minute to mediocre bulgarian side Ludogorets in Champions League. Look totally lacking in confidence. There for the taking?

Depends how we start and who scores the first goal. We need to get their crowds on their own players backs. I echo these sesentiments. Whether we beat Liverpool or not really does depend on which team scores more goals.

If I was a scouser I'd be thinking that it's a good time to play us - we are crippled by injuries and inconsistency.
Still, at least it's good that gone are the days when they wouldn't need to worry about beating us anytime.

This is about the best time to beat these, however I'm getting the feeling that we will roll over. Unlike when we played Man Utd last year where I was genuinely confident we'd win, I just don't feel it here.
I'm thinking we'll start well but they'll ultimately take over. If anything, we need to hit them like we're the home team. The one thing Liverpool did last year was hold the ball well, and they can barely do that.
They're not going to be 100%. Travelled to Bulgaria, full strength team out.
Prove me wrong boys, lets dick them.

With the right blend we can make Gerrard look like a bystander he's got no legs anymore so it's all about blocking his supply.

There is no way that Liverpool are going to put ten men behind the ball and try to hit us on the break. They will try to dominate possession like Spurs did, like City did, like Newcastle did and like Swansea did and they will loose
