Remember us in our first season up? We simply cannot moan about the keeper yesterday. Nah mate, you've got us mixed up with some other team. We've never done such a low underhand thing. We are Stoke City and we'll remember what we want. Some have short memories mate. It was only 2 week ago bego got a yellow card for doing it at Spurs

Have we ever repeatedly feigned head injuries during games when other teams had the ball in our half then kept kicking it back into their corner of the pitch for throw ins?

I don't get it what difference does it make which side you take it from? Their goalkeeper would quite often take his time going to retrieve the ball, then very slowly move to the other side of the six yards box. Best of all, sometimes he would put the ball down on the near side of the six yards box and then move it over to the other side. Exactly he would of done the same with the old rules he was adamant on time wasting. Even when he got booked for time wasting he then went to re-spot the ball and started the goal kick again!!

We've never stooped that low to feign head injuries but we've took an age on placing the ball up for a goal kick, or getting a towel out to dry a ball to take a throw in etc. People forget we used to be horrible at times to watch.... Like burnley!

Absolutely everybody in world football does it now - that's the problem!

The feigning head injuries was pretty low

The new one that's crept in in the last couple of years is going down so that the referee stops play, but getting up before the physio can come on so that they don't have to go off the pitch.

I still cannot get my breath at seeing a Keeper with cramp.

I can't remember which game it was at the Britannia. Jon Walters threw the physio's medical bag off the pitch near the touchline when the opposition player was on the floor (supposedly) injured

The feigning head injuries was pretty low To be honest, some of the stuff that Burnley did was just par for the course - including for us. But some of it went beyond gamesmanship into cheating. When Marney went down at one point and all the Stoke players decided to drag him to his feet I thought the ref had started to lose control of the game. Keepers buggering about at goal kicks is one thing but repeatedly feigning head injuries when another team is attacking then kicking the ball out as far down the pitch as possible from the drop ball? That's just beyond the pale.

Burnley abused the fair play rule on Saturday and made a mockery of this kick the ball out bollocks
They used it to abuse what it is supposed to stand for

I think the referees are between the devil & the deep blue sea with the way an increasing number of players clutch their head as though they have a serious head injury. All too often the culprit has absolutely no problem at all. Quite often when play is stopped the offender doesn't even need the physio and so doesn't even have to go off - mission accomplished
Does anyone know if referees are open to possible legal action if they fail to stop the game for a head injury? - as this may be why more actors are using this to disrupt play

I've said many times that if a player is treated for x amount of mins then he should not be allowed to return to the field of play for the same amount of mins

Even so he did what he got booked for several times again & should therefore have been sent off.
