It's definitely the set pieces which really concerns me this year, and not even the fact we're not scoring them, it's as if we can't take them. Some of our crosses are fucking woeful. Remember when we had Liam Lawrence? Always put in a fucking good cross from a corner.
We just need someone to deliver a decent cross from a corner. I'd be tempted to tell Moses to step back and perhaps suggest Bojan or even Whelan gets back on them.

Our dead ball specialist is not in the side so it doesn't help. Moses can't kick a ball properly so God knows why he's on corners. Unfortunately Adam appears to be unprofessional - from the looks of him today he seems to have put on 2 stone. He needs to get himself into shape. Some of the corners today were beyond bad. Who is our dead ball specialist ? Charlie Adam. Trouble is the fat get trained on pies during the international break and appears to have put on 2 stone.

Shawcross doesn't half put a decent ball in, however he shouldn't be putting in a corner come the 82nd minute when chasing a game or at all for that matter.
Still, it makes no difference who takes them or whoever puts them in the mix because they're never finished off anyway.

Three poor teams have come to the Brit this season, sat 11 behind the ball, we haven't had the quality in the final third to create anything, then they counter attack run up the other end and we hand them a chance on a bloody plate. the reason we won't be near the top 8 this season is because we've thrown 15 very attainable points down the drain already. We look woeful at the back and in compact games don't look like scoring. I'm not saying we're going down but the way we're going we look well of the pace to get 9th again I agree with much of this and we seem to be far happier playing away, as we are generally not under pressure to break a team down. We also need to get back into the habit of keeping clean sheets, both home and away, not rocket science. I am sure LMH will be focussing on defensive duties and set piece delivery this week!

We saw quite a lot of our negatives on Saturday. Casual attitude towards 'lesser' sides. Not enough players taking defensive responsibilities,e.g Moses leaving Muniesa exposed. Appalling corners Nzonzi, imperious as he often is,seems to believe that tackling and scoring are anything to do with him The manager picking a clearly jet lagged Diouf Late substitutions Arnie making the wrong decisions, sloppy play
Could go on,it was a real mess.
Some if the above will go and we will see more of the good stuff that we know the side can show.however the casual attitude and the shocking set pieces we keep seeing over and over again, really starting to grate.
