Three poor teams have come to the Brit this season, sat 11 behind the ball, we haven't had the quality in the final third to create anything, then they counter attack run up the other end and we hand them a chance on a bloody plate.
the reason we won't be near the top 8 this season is because we've thrown 15 very attainable points down the drain already.
We look woeful at the back and in compact games don't look like scoring. I'm not saying we're going down but the way we're going we look well of the pace to get 9th again

If you don't make full use of set pieces then you get what you ask for.
It is criminal the way in which we waste every single set piece we have.
The utter shambles in the 2nd half when Ryan ended up taking a corner is getting beyond a joke.
Why doesn't LMH seem bothered about them???

We must work at set pieces in training, but it doesn't show.

We need to work on set pieces and breaking teams down, it's shocking how much possession we had and how many shots we had yet the only traumatic moment for their keeper today was getting fake cramp
We need a plan b for when visiting teams put 10 men behind the ball

It's amazing that we are heading to Xmas and not a single sign of anyone having a clue what they are doing with corners and free kicks. What's the excuse?

Our dead ball specialist is not in the side so it doesn't help. Moses can't kick a ball properly so God knows why he's on corners. Unfortunately Adam appears to be unprofessional - from the looks of him today he seems to have put on 2 stone. He needs to get himself into shape.
Some of the corners today were beyond bad.

There has been a lack of professionalism in a lot of games. There is a lack of professionalism when highly paid players cant score a single goal from a set piece. They should be working on that all the time. If you can go and beat spurs and man city away it is highly unprofessional to go and not perform against the likes of Leicester and Burnley. Shawcross taking that corner having shouted around for someone else to do it was disgraceful. Shawcross was furious and hughes should be ashamed about that. I was really disappointed with hughes today for the first time in a long time. He got all his subs wrong. He should have played muniesa at centre back given burnleys tactics. 3 home defeats already is not what we have come to expect and we are a proper charity case, bending over and letting absolutely shit teams steal points on our own turf. Embarrassing

What I cannot get my head around is why with all these talented players that we have we cannot score more than one goal and at home against supposed relegation fodder.
Something just isn't adding up.

It's been a move from systems to better passing football but sometimes at the expense of good habits , our defending needs looking at , not so much a crisis but we seem to switch off at times and you can't in this league .
At the other end we still do not have enough match winners and I think Hughes should have gambled today and took a defender off when he made the crouch change , apart from the Nzonzi chance we created nothing second half and they were pretty comfortable , in the current market players to take us to the next level are either home grown or cost more than we tend to spend so we need to be patient but as long as we stay out of trouble that's ok for me

It sure is bang on mate,14 corners and did any of them trouble their goal? I can't recall any at all mate. The one what ryan ran over and took was embarrassing. Yes we were in a hurry etc but the centre half should not be the one rushing over when we have supposedly better footballers on the pitch

All the euphoria before the season started has now gone. The first two posters are spot on. If we carry on playing like this, we're in trouble! That was a shambles! This. We won't keep pulling away wins out of the bag to compensate, either so, for me, as I have felt for a while, we are in trouble. You just don't have this kind of home form and keep out of the relegation fight...that's not knicker wetting, it's a fact and it's time Hughes woke up to it. We needed a central defender in the Summer but didn't bother and it's showing. We don't score from set pieces anymore and it's showing. We expect to roll over supposed relegation fodder by just turning up but we ain't that committed anymore and it's showing. This is the least enjoyable season back in the top flight so far for me...no consistency and not a lot of heart.

Ryan taking that corner was disgraceful Behave FFS .....time was running out and he was the closest But there were 7 or 8 minutes plus added time too. Gotta love your defence of that situation, it's much better than what tripe your master General is preaching in training.
