Worst ground in the premier league. Awful shithole. Is it that bad? I was thinking of going as I haven't been before or shall I just save the money?

The view is never good but I love the ground & I would definately recommend going . It is a real old traditional ground that has character not like these new bland featureless stadiums they build now which I include the Brit in.

I'm surprised we've only taken the lower allocation for a boxing day away fixture at Everton.
Very surprised.

Given that we've sold out a similar, yet more expensive, allocation at Liverpool 2 weeks before the game is due to be played, a smaller allocation for a boxing day fixture, the best football day of the season, is odd on the part of the club to say the least.

It does seem strange for like you say the best football day of the season.Have we ever taken the full amount there?Only been twice since been back in the prem, the 1-0 win when it was just after Speeds death and the 1-0 defeat when we had a perfectly good goal ruled out by that tosser Probert.

No idea mate but whatever allocation we've had its always looked sold out. The full allocation obviously sold out for our first season back.

Just a quick question but didn't we take 7000 + to Blackburn on a Boxing Day a few years ago ? surely the club could of taken maximum allocation. Just a thought.

I'm surprised we've only taken the lower allocation for a boxing day away fixture at Everton. Very surprised. I really don't get it. We're playing some great stuff, and Boxing Day brings out the fans that pick and choose the odd away game. Those tickets will sell in no time. Getting back to the original poster evertons a brilliant away day, cracking old school ground.

£39?!! How can they justify that?. I make an effort to go to Everton every year because of their reasonable ticket pricing but that has just pissed me right off. It was £25 two years ago and the near enough cheapest away ticket in the league.

stokecity_joshw: For those asking the allocation for Everton is 1,800 initially. Will review after a week of sales - option for 3,000. #stokecity #awaydays

The first allocation will usually be nearer the end and the second closer to the middle. Don't know what we can do about it, other than sell out every away game so we get the maximum allocation from the outset.

But the same comments apply, the better views are going to be retained for Home fans if the away team takes a smaller allocation. Presonally, I'm no great fan of upper tiers no matter how good the views are. I feel you lose a lot of atmosphere up high. But that's just me - others may disagree.

Your first post said they would save the seats closer to the middle which simply isn't true, now your saying it's the “better” seats. If you're going to be the forum pedant then I simply can't allow you to get away with moving the goalposts like this... ;-) PS it's Personally not Presonally :-)
