Who do u think will get us the most goals this season? Personally I think diouf, cos I think crouch will create more goal scoring opportunitys for diouf than diouf will for crouchy! Think we've finally got a good partnership with these two, seem to link up really well together!!!

Diouf, no doubt about it.

It's Diouf's spot to lose, however Crouch will still have a big part to play this season I'm sure of it. Good healthy competition, I'd love to see Diouf go on an interrupted 7/8 game run now though, lets see what he's really capable of

I wasn't aware it was a partnership, going by the last two games!

I would stick with the four up front from the last two games until we run out of ideas, then it's time to introduce Crouchy again!

No debate. Love Crouch, but we (have to) change the way we play, when he plays, and it's not as effective.

Away, Diouf.

Diouf
Both players have missed too many chances to score so far this season. But for me Diouf is getting into more scoring situations and I feel sure he will start to score regularly. Hopefully 16 or more.

Diouf with 30 goals between them. Is this a bit optimistic?

I've got nothing against Crouch but if you remember our change of form and play turned last season when Crouch was replaced by Odemwinge in the striker position.
If we are going to continue to play this way then the furthest forward has to be quick. Bojan's goal at Spurs shows exactly why we need Diouf in that position. Crouch can't make the runs Diouf did for Bojans goal

Diouf, no doubt about it. Crouch or Diouf??? Very different players: one with pace, a bit of power but not the silkiest of touches, the other is Crouch. We just need to set up appropriately to get the best out of both of them, and not necessarily togethegether. Crouchie requires players buzzing around him; not stuck up front, nor ploughing lone furrows. {Though he's often found himself playing that way.} Crouchie will get more 'assists', it'll be a close run thing done on 'goals per minutes played', but Diouf will just edge it on total goals {including Cups and Internationals} scored this season. I like having both of them hanging around. {Please don't start any 'Crouch is past it, off to QPR for Xmas' nonsense.}

Love Crouchy to bits and have massive respect for how he has rediscovered what appears to not only be his form but also his appetite for the fight.
That said the difference Diouf's pace and movement make to us is so obvious it's untrue.
PC still has a big part to play as with many other players in the squad who aren't getting in the XI at present.

Diouf will play more games so should in theory finish top scorer. Should get 10 but he's never a 20 goal a season striker which is what we all hoped for when he arrived. But he'll add a few assists as well he's very unselfish

Both are valuable to our club
choosing is divisive and unecessary
the ones whose scoring regularly, gets the shirt

Wonder if Diouf will play tomorrow in the final qualifier? If he gets back late Thursday again it could be Crouchie starting Saturday

No disrespect to Crouchy but Diouf offers so much more.
With Crouch in the side we are so predictable.

If Crouchie had Mame's pace and strength he would be world class!!

Plus against Shackell and Michael Duff, Diouf should have a field day.
It would be an almighty head scratcher if Hughes chose Crouch over Mame for Saturdays match.

Crouch but only if Diouf returns unfit to play. Otherwise stick with the fowards who worked so well in the last what two or three games. No sense breaking up a winning formula.
