They've even said it themselves, "They went for 9m Simon Mignolet instead".
Lazy, lazy cunters.

One would imagine if Bego was going to move he'd want to go to a club guaranteed Champions League

Either way we've massively fcuked up by not giving him a new contract earlier, or selling him sooner if it was apparent that he did not want a new deal.

Why would bego take a step down, ten million is a fucking insult to the best keeper in the prem

I think some of that story makes sense. Begovic would go there, big club,he can stay in this area,he would be first choice. However there is no chance Stoke will sell for £10m. I think other clubs would be keen too.

Why would bego take a step down, ten million is a fucking insult to the best keeper in the prem Maybe, but you could look at it this way. IF he doesn't want to sign a new contract, £10M + Wages is a lot for 20 months employment.

We have to sell him eventually because I assume we promised Butland some football. His form hasn't been great recently, his contract is going down and a few other factors lead me to think it'll be more around the 12 million mark then the 15 that some people are hoping for

Liverpool don't deserve begovic If they had paid the extra £6million they would have won the premier league how short sited was it to buy Mignolet instead.

18 Months ago I would have said we would be mad to sell him, but Butland looks to be a good replacement if he did go.

De Gea will sign for Real Madrid next summer & Begovic will be his replacement.
That's my prediction anyway.

£10 million? Fuck off, thats insulting. It's not for somebody who's contract is running down If he signs a contract extension he's worth £20m ....if he doesn't he gets cheaper every window That £10m will soon be £5m etc etc

After being touted as one of the best keepers in the league, Id be slightly disappointed if we lost him for £10m. Just my opinion though mind.

By people on here, I'm not sure he is thought of quite so highly elsewhere (not saying I don't think he is btw). Its more more that you found it embarrassing I was asking about.

£10 million? Fuck off, thats insulting. Why? Because Fraser Forster cost £10 million, Mignolet and Craig Gordon cost £9 million and Begovic is vastly superior to all of them. de Gea cost £18 million and that was three years ago when he was still very raw. In Begovic we have a genuine world class keeper who hasn't even reached his peak yet, to sell him for £10 million or less would be shocking business on our part.

Real Madrid linked again
to be fair they have also been linked with Lloris (sp) from Spurs
no need for Stoke to sell below the market rate at this time
might be a different picture Jan 2016 if he hasnt signed a new contract by then
