He's not playing for the U-21's.
He's not played in the 2 cup games.
He's not playing out on loan.
Any ideas?

That still doesn't legislate for the lack of playing time in the U-21's so no.

He played 90 minutes for the Slovakia U-21s last week. linkBit of a mystery that we haven't got him some kind of loan.

Maybe we've realised farming young foreign players who are trying to adjust to living in a new country, isn't best for their future development?

Maybe but then why not play him in the U-21 games?

Ideally, you could maybe get the best of both worlds by sending him somewhere localish like Walsall, Crewe, or Shrewsbury? But maybe he'd be considered a gamble too far with his lack of experience? Bit odd that he's not playing any kind of competitive football though. I can't see this U21 League working out if its not even trusted as the kind of environment to chuck in the likes of him?

Really, if we were going to look to use him as a first team player in the future, we would be looking to send him out to a championship/big league 1 club TBH. Im starting to think that we bought him in as a bit of a gamble, but it doesn't seem to be working out atm.

Seems like the same approach we took with Muni last season, nothing to worry about (yet). Hopefully he'll come good and slot in alongside Ryan next season.

One is a lad who has won the Champions League and was on the bench in the final. The other is a lad who has come from a third rate league and seems like a rough diamond who needs to learn. I can see why he isn't playing in the first team but no football at all? What's that about? Even the U-21 league is better than no football. He needs as much as he can get, it just seems odd.

It does, but I doubt there's anything bad behind it. From recent memory (League Cup) Dion travelled with the side, so he's likely to be in the thoughts. I'd like to see him on the bench for the cup game against Southampton tbh,

He will not be ready to start games next to Shawcross next season as if he was he would be pushing the squad already! He is still very young so even if he is just making squads and league cup ties next season it is not a big problem as I can see he is one for the long term I.e. 2-3 years away!

He's back in training isn't he?
Surely he needs to be out on loan somewhere?

Well he mentioned the trip to Dubai as a positive - that he is in the manager's plans Worrying story at the end where he mentioned being 'into' the hotel manager's wife??

Well he mentioned the trip to Dubai as a positive - that he is in the manager's plans Worrying story at the end where he mentioned being 'into' the hotel manager's wife?? I think that's just a bad translation, it reads like they've been accused of blood doping to me but again that could be just down to poor translation.

And on google translate that translates to "Since I had a wife in the hotel, I do not have anything to say. Just think that it unnecessarily inflated, "said 193 centimeters tall defender." Which reads like it was his wife in the hotel. God knows what it's on about!

What had 'unnecessarily inflated' as well? They're quite strict on those kinds of exposures over in Dubai aren't they?
