We have a gift wrapped chance to make sure Southampton and their mouthy, puffed up supporters take no further part in the League Cup competition after Wednesday night.
That has got to be our aim and if we do we manage that we can all move on.

No reason why not, we should beat them at home.

Probably get dicked by them, unless Bojan is starting!
Hughes needs to address the attack, the defense is boss!

Only the current Top 2, today opponents and Chelsea, have conceded fewer goals than us this season. The trouble is that every time we do concede a goal the "forensics" team on here are right on hand to dish out some blame, usually Wilson! We wouldn't have this situation if we ever actually managed to score ourselves at the other bloody end. I think only the penalty goal we conceded against Swansea has not ended up costing us points.

I haven't been on the board much today so I don't know what people thought but considering they're sitting second in the table I thought they were very average today. If we had anything resembling a cutting edge we could have stolen a point second half. Don't see why we can't take them at home.

God knows what Sparky was thinking starting Walters, I know he scored the winner last week but that is the point, he is better being an option from the bench these days. When we decided to join in and make a game of it Saints looked far less composed and cocky. They are on a right good roll but we will see how good they are in Nov / December when they play the bigger boys. We badly need to start scoring though, in off peoples arses will do! I think we made it easy for them, Charlie looked way off it, Zonz had a mare and Johnny was Johnny! Cup tie win Wednesday may do us alot of good.
