Just read this.I had a problem with my DPF a few weeks ago, and got it fixed by my main dealer, fortunately, the problem was not terminal, otherwise I was looking at at £1200 bill. It cost me £70 for a re-burn, but I looked into what else I could do if the DPF had to be replaced, and found out that it could be removed for about £300, the car would be re-mapped, emissions would not change, it would pass an MOT, get better fuel economy and be a bit quicker too! Does anybody have "a friend" that's had it done?
