"He is somebody we would like to keep here. There will be discussions with him in the near future - I am sure of that."

2 year extension with a yearly addon after 20 appearances would tie him over nicely.

Was great to see his squaring up against the Newcastle defender who dragged him down in the box. He proper lost it for a second, never seen him that pissed off before. He really does care

Crouchy could keep on going forever, he's never been a pacey striker so losing a yard is no issue, he's proven already that he can do 90 minutes and is still vital for us

Crouch has never had pace so doesn't need it for his game. He could go on for years! He doesn't seem to be particularly injury prone as well. Plays with a smile on his face, scores goals and genuinely looks like he enjoys playing for Stoke. I just wish our lot showed him more support with a few old school Peter Thorne stylee chants.. 'OHHH PETER CROUCHHHH, PETER PETER CROUCHHHHHH, PETER PETER CROUCHHHHH, OHHHH PETER CROUCH!'

Having someone by the side of him with pace has helped him a lot . He's been crying out for that for two years.
On his own he looks completely immobile

Fully deserved - having been slated all summer long - he has been without doubt one of our better performers

Excellent news. Crouch has a commendable attitude and links our attacking play wonderfully. All he needs is a bit of pace around him and Moses has provided that.

Good solid pro and when he's used correctly add real value to the team.

He definitely deserves another year, possibly 2. As others have said - he has never relied on pace and doesn't seem injury prone so I see no reason why he can't play until his late 30s if he still has the desire in him.

That's good news. He's an important player and is doing an great job for us. It's not going to be easy to find a replacement.

I love Crouchy... In a non, no, slightly gay way.
Hope he signs and I think he will. He seems to enjoy it here from what I've seen.

This has probably been his best spell in our team so far in his Stoke career. He looks more important every week.

This has probably been his best spell in our team so far in his Stoke career. He looks more important every week. He looks a far better player when he is an 11 that doesn't include Walters. Much the same is actually true of Walters who looks a better play in an 11 that doesn't include Crouch.

I'm not a massive fan of Crouchy but he's done well so far this season. Wouldn't be adverse to offering him a new deal but I'd still value him at roughly £4m should QPR come back in for him

Fantastic to see ALL agreeing (so far) that he deserves a new deal and recognising what a great job he dies for us after the shit he gets on her sometimes. Fully deserves an extension and hope he continues as he has done. Well done Crouchy!
