Apparently could be available for the Sunderland game (at the end of the Diouf article) ...
www.stokecityfc.com/news/article/diouf-ruled-out-1983929.aspx
"Meanwhile Geoff Cameron could feature in the matchday squad for the first time since the Capital One Cup victory over Portsmouth in August after stepping up his rehabilitation following a five week spell on the sidelines."

Would be Good to see him back in form Would be good if he ever got in form. We must be one of the few clubs who continuously put down our own players, even the decent ones.

Given the conflicting info on this thread perhaps there is more than one Geoff Cameron? maybe Klinsmann has cloned him?

He is not in America recovering. The hashtag #tbt means "throwback Thursday" which means he posted an old picture. He hasn't left Europe since his return from the post World Cup respite.

In the pre-Sunderland press conference, Hughesy said he's had a full week of training but he's a bit short of fitness to be in contention for tomorow, so will probably be in the shake-up for the next game.

The question is, will he be in contention at right back (please, no) or central midfield?
Or, as a complete curveball, centre back?

Would be good if he ever got in form. We must be one of the few clubs who continuously put down our own players, even the decent ones. You need to get on a few more teams messageboards. And that decent he was dropped faster than a stone!

The question is, will he be in contention at right back (please, no) or central midfield? Or, as a complete curveball, centre back? Even the most ardent Cameron fan (and I'm one of them) will admit Bardsley has had a couple of great performances lately. If he keeps them up, then it wouldn't be fair to drop him. I'm not convinced yet because he's had a couple of mares too. Cameron has a chance to prove himself elsewhere on the pitch however. We know he has the ability to play in central midfield. Who knows? A good performance against Southampton in the League Cup and Sparky might reconsider playing N'Zonzi every game. Don't get me wrong, I think N'Zonzi is quality on his day but he sometimes blows hot and cold and after he sat out a few games last season, he came back and played some of the best football in his Stoke career.

Maybe instead of Sidwell but he's nowhere either.
