Do you class 1-0 as a pasting March? 1-0 is regulation. 2-0 is a proper drubbing I take it you've changed your mind about goals being irrelevant then?

I said it earlier in the season that we seem to be surrendering possession a bit more so far. We are allowing teams to have the ball and come at us so we can dive in around our box, sometimes giving daft free kicks away, and break quickly on teams.
Id like see us get back a little bit more to dominating teams a bit more and controlling games.
I'm sure we'll suss it soon and combine the two the more the season goes on.

Great tactics a counter productive approach, it needed to change from us putting the pressure on them. They didn't expect it we won, game over next...
Only gripe I had was we can't shoot for shit.

Because we knew Newcastle were going to attack. They're desperate for points and won't play for a draw with the current discontent amongst their fans. We could and should have scored more. Newcastle on the other hand only mustered 2 decent chances in the whole game. So overall, a good strategy I'd say. Also, we went more offensive in the last two home games (with Bojan playing) and look what happened there. We're not a team that is going to dominate possession and pile pressure on for 90 minutes. We played on the counter v Man City and yesterday, winning both games. I'd rather therefore play to our strengths and take the 3 points. Offensive!!! Fucking offensive!!! We're British for God's sake, I hate this Americanism!!!

Oddly its a bit like how Pulis used to let the opposition have the ball a lot. The difference is in the way we break with pace and skill rather than relying overly on the long ball. We also have the ability to play some keep ball of our own now which we never had under Pulis.

We are creating enough chances to be killing games off in the first half at home. One of the main reasons i believe is the nativity of the crowd! If that same atmosphere and passion of that first premier season could be created again we could without a doubt be a top 8 club at least!!!

I know a lot of our fans are on a low income but to compare them to Shepherds is wrong.
