10 million for a player of his quality who will only be 24 next summer?
Great value in my opinion, assuming we can pull it off.

Is he actuality any better than Assaidi? I'm not convinced yet he looks a lot bigger and stronger than Assaidi and he has more premiership experience and is a few years younger And he knows how to put a cross in.

Whooh there tigers.
What if he has 1 poor game?
Or if he concedes a dangerous free kick or even worse a penalty?

Whooh there tigers. What if he has 1 poor game? Or if he concedes a dangerous free kick or even worse a penalty? Der! Well obviously he will become a boo boy and will be given such a hard time that Hughes has no option but to send him back to Chelsea. You're thick if you can't work that out!

Did he not have a a clause in his loan contract that we would get an option to buy?

If we can keep beating the likes of Man City with him and he can't play against Chelsea, then they'll be more than happy he stays here the season. Beyond that who knows.

They have no choice but to let him stay for the season. Season long loans can only be terminated if both clubs agree - there are no recall clauses.

I'd spend £12mil of Sir Peter's wedge for Moses.

If he keeps up this form until January then I'm convinced he's worth a bid. We haven't spunked away the piles of Sky cash yet so the bank balance should be in good nick.

We will keep Victor and Assaidi - both unwanted at there respective clubs. Liverpool must be desperate to bin off Assaidi, to loan him out LAST season and then bring in Moses on loan and not play Moses much at all shows they obviously don't rate Assaidi or have him in their plans. I think Assaidi is a must for us to buy - he gets the best out of Arnie being his best mate, and also he loves Stoke City. Victor will come back next season, I'm sure of it. He obviously isn't quite at the 'top 6' level just yet and if he continues to perform like this for us (should we buy him next summer) I think we'll get some mental bids in for him (not that we need to sell, though, outlined by keeping Bego, Ryan and Arnie this season). I would personally go for Assaidi and Victor on both wings with Arnie through the middle, where he prospered so much at Bremen. With that front 3, I honestly believe we could be in the top 7 or 8, I really do. COYP!

I bow to your superior knowledge of Arnie and Assaidi's close friendship and the latter's love of Stoke ( ) and am impressed by your psychic abilities which have predicted that not only will we buy Moses, but we'll be fighting off other clubs once we have bought him. Christ, let's see how he progresses on his loan first shall we instead of letting your imagination get the better of you?

Christ, let's see how he progresses on his loan first shall we instead of letting your imagination get the better of you? It has been said by fellow squad members (Charlie) for one, that Arnie and Assaidi are inseperable in training - and also on Arnie's official Twitter he tweeted along the lines of 'my bro is back' - you can see a good repor with Moses and the fans and there's no reason he wouldn't joing Stoke City long term... regular first team football and a very influential player who Sparky rates very highly. If he carries on like this he will be a 10m pounds player this summer and I bet we'll break our transfer record to sign him. The only hinderance could be wages. I'm just looking forward - the problem is to many fans have a steady attitude which is why we'll keep getting players like Sidwell on a free - ambition in that signing? Minimal at best. We should go for Yarmelenko (who tore England apart in the WC Quals.) too. Very pleasing start to the season with Victor at the spearhead of it all. We will improve at home and picking up points away, this should be a good season once again. Up the Potters!

I admire your optimism, but I can't see any way that we will end up with Arnie, Moses, Assaidi and Yarmolenko signed. I'd like to see Moses stay and have us sign a pre-contract with Yarmolenko and then say goodbye to Assaidi at the season's end.

I am sure its probably my 'ego?' but I was not happy to Assaidi return, and woudl be glad to see him sent back where he came from. The reason is simple, Stoke gave him a chance last season, and pulled him out of obscurity, and lets face it he was great for us, the fans showed their apreciation, and the club showed theirs as well, and chased Liverpool to allow the lad to come to stoke, and the chance of continued high status at a club he was wanted at and allowed to shine at .
What does the gready little slime do, demand a wage way above his ability and the clubs policy. send him to the reserves until its time to go back to obsurity at Liverpool, Like he wasnt on enough without the inflated demands of a player who clearly thinks he is better than he is.
Just my opinion of course, which will be null and void, if he shows commitment in a red and white shirt while odem is injured.

Not sure who said it, but there was a quote around the transfer window that said if people are judging a player's commitment by their wage demands, there are no heroes in football anymore. I'd agree to an extent.
