We have had a full bathroom refurb and am totalyl delighted with the standard of workmanship.
We bought all the parts and he fitted it all.
Tiling is superb, new radiator ,took the pipes out of sight below floor level .Fitted new shower and three piece bathrom set.
Got quotes for everywhere between £1200 and £1500 ,then got put onto this fella. £900 and he travelled to Stafford everyday.
If you ever need a kitchen or bathroom fitter up the Potteries PM me.

When you do this it makes you realise how much we get ripped off by Moben, Dolphin etc etc. Over the last year we have had both our kitchen and bathroom replaced by purchasing our own units and suit on line, and good quality made to measure kitchen units. I employed a local chippy and both rooms cost under £7k in total including fitting, flooring, tiles and new oven and extractor all fitted. Moben quoted £8k for the kitchen supposedly free fitting and The Bath Store quoted £6,200 for the bathroom free fitting. I agree get yersen a local fitter and buy your own units/suit online and you'll save thousands.

Was fortunate when I came to doing my kitchen and living room because my mate is a sparky by trade and then also did all my plastering, plumbing, tiling both wall and floor and fitted the whole kitchen and appliances. Put in French doors and slabbed yard too.

I tried that last time with the bathroom, and have been regretting it ever since, I kicked the bloke out in the end and finished it myself. I've had earache for the last 10 years off her. Having a new one fitted in a few weeks time, not from the big players but a well respected guy who you have to wait months to get done, I've been to a couple of houses he's done to have a look and I'm happy paying a bit extra this time.

Our fitter is ex-Chippy and served on Avenger with him back in 80s. He's totally reliable and puts in a good shift every day.

A Morris Marina has slightly more leg room,
