Have you seen his latest act of fuckwittery from today? What happened? He plays a stupid all be it mint pass with the outside of his leg. It's just reckless and unnecessary and if he was my 'keeper I would have ran on the pitch and drop kicked him for it.

Dont get me wrong mate hes not been the same lately, but for me when Casillas was at the same age Neuer is now he was much better. 3 champs league winners medals 2 super cup wins 5 la liga titles 2 copa del rey 4 spanish supercups world cup winner 2 time euros winner world cup golden glove winner absolutely brilliant keeper for a lot of years! saying he's not simply because of the last couple of years is just daft!!!! over 500 appearances for Real over more than a decade and over 150 caps for his national side over more than a decade but because Jose didn't like him and decided to finish his career prematurely because of a personal dislike of him (which the Real fans were livid about and the Real Board were livid with and the Spanish press were disgusted by) then it's suddenly all wiped from history and we can say he wasn't any good...ridiculous! That is pretty good going for a goal keeper to win all that.

Obviously a terrible keeper... No one says he is a terrible keeper, but is there any need for him to go charging up the field like he does?? Yes, because it adds an extra man to the defence when on the ball and enables them to push higher up the field when they're playing the ball out. Off the ball, he cuts out more attacks before they become dangerous than the handful of goals he costs when it goes wrong. Maybe he didn't need to flick it so extravangtly, but if he can do it, so what? Do you think anyone ever told Ronaldinho to stop arsing about and play the easy ball?

I don't think he's a terrible keeper, I personally don't like the way he goes about and think it's unnecessary. Re Ronaldinho-I would have done! I can't be doing with fancy dan bollocks if there's a simple pass on. There's a time and place.

class looking flick but hardly difficult and risky is it! Its the kind of flick you do when having a knockabout with 2 or 3 guys passing in a square.
Not exactly difficult to perform when hungover on a Sunday wearing muddy trainers, let alone when ur a professional footballer.
I swear some posters on this messageboard have never kicked a ball themselves before. Getting their knickers in a twist over nothing

It's not hard it's just unnecessary and of course it's a risk. If he misses it, it's a goal. And of course I've played football, it's actually where my username comes from..... If my goalkeeper did that I'd bollock him up hill and down dale, these'just no need.

There's a reason he's regarded by anyone who isn't a complete weapon as the best keeper in the world.
He's fast off his line, great shop stopper, commanding in the box, good in the air, he really has everything, he's fantastic.

He's never on his line, so he doesn't have to be fast off it. Courtois does all of that, is younger and takes less risks and is more effective. He's just a far more solid 'keeper. And I've never seen him wilt like I have Neuer against Arsenal a few times. Which for someone who doesn't like Neuer was great to see, he really cracked. Neuer is a very good 'keeper, one of the best in the world but I just think the way he keeps goal is unnecessary as most other goalkeepers show.

There's room for skill but it has to be used correctly, see Arnie for this. The reason England won't win another World Cup are far too numerous. The main reason on the pitch at the minute is nothing to do with skill, we have a skillfull set of attackers who are very good technical players, it's the defence.

That's because we have a manager who is absolutely dreadful and plays the wrong attacking players ie Rooney. That's just not true, player have flair and individualism and it's an ever growing part of coaching nowadays. England's problems are far bigger than that though.
