Nor has the oatcake but they do keep telling people to move on. Do we really? We've probably said that it would be good if people moved on, but we've never TOLD people to do so. What would be the point? I think between the magazine and here, there have been plenty of 'just move on' and 'let it go' pieces. Some of them heavy booted ones. Which is why it's all a bit odd that two provocative Pulis pieces have appeared in the first two editions 18 months after his departure?

And look at the great displays, results and goal feasts he orchestrated at the etihad. Not disputing away form - he was woeful for the most part BUT he knew that our home form was key to our survival - something Hughes has yet to learn seemingly..... Our first two home games this season have been disastrous, but come on, you can't just simply write off last season's performance at the Britannia.

I don't think either me, Smudge, Mark or anyone else connected to the fanzine has told anybody to "move on". You're not seriously saying that individual posters represent what the fanzine's editorial team think?

Jeez really, things have moved on with this football club, and that includes the manager.

You think a manager walking out of a Premier League club two days before a season starts on the basis he didn't get his own way isn't worthy of comment? What was this other provocative piece? This is the Pulis Force Commander at his finest!

I think we're in for a long hard season Didn't last season we have the best points tally at home since promotion? Don't you remember last season when too many were shouting the same message "relegation", "Tone wouldn't have allowed us to lose", "we've lost our DNA". Remind me where we finished. Some of our 'fans' really are pathetic. They wet their knickers after a handful of games.

Oh so the oatcake not only writes divisive irrelevant articles it actually knows why Pulis left his last job, a fact that eludes the rest of Fleet Street's finest! Or perhaps the article is written with more barbed divisive menace than I first though? Oh and that other article. Written by a chap called The Marksman in the villa edition. Pulis hating claptrap at its finest. Do you know the fella?

Fuckin calm down - I'm commenting on the first two home games both of which we should have won or at least not lost - last season was great (in the end) which I of course remember very well ........just hoping we haven't become complacent - if anyone's wetting their knickers it's you who can't cope with any sort of discussion or contrast - try crossing yer legs......

That's the beauty of the hard copy fanzine over the messageboard I don't have to look through reams of posts to prove I'm right which feels grubby I just go and un-wedge the oatcake from the pipe behind the bog and it's all there in glorious agendaprint!

Well come good in the second half of the season but what the fuck goes on in the first half of it is anyone's guess.
Performances at home 'and away at Hull' resemble something akin to just been dragged off the streets.
Shambolic to say the least.

...and who was talking about a "long hard season"? ......and if this continues you don't think it will be..??? Keep on happy clapping....... WTF? It's September FFS. I'll clap and support the team and manager. Guess that makes me a happy clapper then? You'll piss your knickers, moaning about long hard seasons and Pulis wouldn't have lost. WTF does that make you then?

Guess that makes me a happy clapper then? You'll piss your knickers, moaning about long hard seasons and Pulis wouldn't have lost. WTF does that make you then? Blimey - he with the pant-wetting fixation wets pants again himself cos he thinks happy clapping comment was urging folk not to clap in literal interpretation shock horror..... I clapped loads yesterday, fully support Hughes and the team and will continue to do so and don't want Pulis back for a gold clock.......That clear? I have mearly expressed an opinion that Hughes' attitude to the winning of home games -particularly crucial in the capped ones reign - raises questions in my mind. So unless we get off the mark at home sometime soon it will start to get harder to the point of being an unwanted monkey on our backs - yes it's "only September FFS" and we have already squandered points against a newly promoted side and a team we thrashed out of sight 3 or 4 months back......... Moaning gets me through the frustration if that's ok with you...... You'd better start wringing 'em out......

That coupled with the Marksmen's tirade in the Villa issue and I make that 26 different mentions of Pulis in two magazines so far this season. Nothing like 'moving on' is there Good
