We're actually top of the list in arrests for possession of fireworks or flares by quite some distance!

We're actually top of the list in arrests for possession of fireworks or flares by quite some distance! When the letting off of flares was debated on here a while ago, wasn't it the opinion of some posters that letting off flares is (or should be) part of their democratic rights as football fans?

The Geordies still get nicked quite a lot then. They will never learn. So easily 'goaded'.

Obviously a lot of improvement still to go in terms of our away behaviour, 3rd highest for arrest figures; with a significant portion of that being for possession/use of fireworks or flare (as noted by StoKeith)
I'd like to see the club really target this to make sure the results of anybody being arrested (and obviously charged) with that offence being enough to deter people risking it in the first place.

Same number of banning orders (24) as Swindon Town. We have less banning orders than Shrewsbury, Luton, Chesterfield, Bristol Rovers...
