Did he play on Saturday? It's a tiny bit worrying given how toss Spurs are.

Crikey. Moses on one wing and Lennon on the other. We'd need Linford Christie in the middle to keep up. A front three of Lennon, Moses and Diouf would frighten the living piss out of any backline. .. Where's SJW fitting into all of this? He didn't fit in last season apparently. Or this season.

SL&P @stokeloudproud · 5h 5 hours agoWe've been told Stoke will try to make Victor Moses loan move in to a permanent one in January Stoke will also try sign Aaron Lennon again.SL&P claiming we may be back in for him in Jan. Evening StandardStandard Sport understands that Pochettino is uncertain about the quality of players at his disposal. He would be willing to ship out Aaron Lennon, Kyle Naughton and Paulinho during the January transfer window to clear space in the squad for his own targets. Crikey. Moses on one wing and Lennon on the other. We'd need Linford Christie in the middle to keep up. A front three of Lennon, Moses and Diouf would frighten the living piss out of any backline. Great to have those sort of options. At present Arnie and Ossie don't appear to be in Hughes's plans so to tie Moses down AND get Lennon would be great business.

Can't see Lennon as a target anymore. We have a plethora of wide men, unless we are selling a couple.

Can't see it either. Plus Walters hold up play is now key to the reason that Hughes has actually managed to get Diouf playing through the middle.

I thought we brought Ossie outright? No, mate. Season long loan. Right, he can go back now as far as I'm concerned. I just don't get why Hughes rates him. Lennon 4 years ago yes. Now, not sure. Is he looking for one last payday?

I think he's worth a go if he's still got his pace. He's always been a bit of a headless chicken but he's still better than all of our wide players bar Moses I would suggest.

Arnie is far more talented and Jon gives very different things again. From a pure pace and hugging the touch line wide player he's better. Whether that 100% fits into our system is another thing entirely.

I used to think he was England's next big thing. I've always preferred a winger with pace. Think he'd fit in well with Diouf leading the line but not so much Crouch

The only thing wrong with us signing Lennon, is that every time we are on telly, the commentatot (particularly that gobshite, Motson) will insist on referring to him as 'ex-Spurs star, Aaron Lennon' as though life stops as soon as you leave Spurs.

I've always thought that Lennon flatters to deceive. Yes, he's got pace to burn but he seldom uses it effectively. For me runs into too many cul-de-sacs and his crossing is frequently poor

I think Lennon is a cracking player and would be great for us if we could keep him fit.

If the African cup of nations happens and we lose Moses/ diouf we suddenly become very short of forward options

Anyone know when Odemwingie is due back? If he returns in the same form as last season we dont need Lennon.
Diouf, Moses, Bojan, Odem... mouthwatering

Arnie's having a bad spell but on his day, Arnie would probably walk into a top 6 team.
