Re transfers talk sport (take with a pinch of salt) were talking about us pre kickoff and our transfers and said how little we had spent and they expected movement from us tomorrow and they heard the yarmolenko deal wasn't completely dead?

Will we now become more of an 'away' side, given that sides will park the bus at the Britannia now ?

Enjoy rest of the show. Q for everyone. Would you play the same team next match (injuries allowing) ?

Adam seemed to win about half a dozen fouls which really slowed the game, and annoyed the City fans which was good

I think that Man City were not expecting our team selection, especially starting Crouch and Walters and leaving Arnie and Bojan on the bench
For leicester do we keep the same team?
I think that MH will reward players for their performance - but will take into account the specific opposition.

It isn't just about Shawcross not being selected. It's about how he's always been ignored by the media in any discussions about which defenders should be selected. That seems to have changed this weekend with loads of media outlets all suddenly recognising his qualities.

It's only 2 performances in but I really hope Stoke try and change Moses from a loan deal to a permanent signing. I also think Crouch could be immense for us this year and has made a massive difference when he's been on the pitch this season. I said a few weeks ago that our key for real progress was to improve our away points tally and being unbeaten with 4 points on the road so far is a great start.

watched leicester vs arsenal this afternoon on tv ... thought L approached an Arsenal game the stoke way ... bullied arsenal all the way and it looked like Arsenal did not have the guts for it and leicester could have easily won it ... they will come to the Brit all prepared to fight for a point so it won't be easy ... hopefully we'll give a better account of ourselves at home this time and won't under-estimate Leicester.

I'm sure I saw Hodgson at the Brit when Blue played there a few years back.

I think that Ramsays injury did get a mention on the live game this afternoon - just no reference to Stoke or RS.
He was clattered by one of the Leicester players

On a different theme - was great to see Ollie Shenton make a 10 minute cameo on Wednesday night, was also warming to see how the more senior players Adam in particular helped him on the night. I read on one of the threads on Shenton that he had a round of applause off the first team players after one of the training sessions, this bodes well for the future.

Russ - good shout for a direct approach early doors v Leicester. Crouch must be in again anyway and with some decent delivery from Moses and diouf/bojan(?) feeding off knockdowns, could be a winner!

some more thoughts from yesterday's match ...when odemwingie came on for walters the commentator said he wondered if he would come and help out in defence just like sjw was doing in the first half ... but the work ethic of the team is evident for all to see. Peter was covering the Man City left-back whenever they were attacking us ... just like Walters had been doing. Similarly Moses was also tackling and blocking when we were under pressure. Crouch was just like another centre half at times as well... hence why yesterday was so good ... the players were so focussed and determined not to leave without a result. I thought Bardsley was superb too and I'm not his greatest fan after the first two games.

and i thought Nzonzi was outstanding ... literally waltzing around the Man City midfielders and showering passes whenever we were in possession.

Rob Dorset must be happy we've done all our transfer business early this year, I can't imagine 'roll up man' making an appearance this transfer deadline day. I wonder if there will be any shocks out or in tomorrow?

Transfer market?
Has Odemwinge retired from International football?
Hopefully his injury isn't too serious Surely Moses and Diouf wilL be away for ACN, it may be prudent to take a loanee?
I can see 1 more signing and possibly departure of Cameron - I will be sorry to see him move on however
Palacios, Shea ? ideally we need them off our wage bill
On another point has Matty found a new club yet?

Been really impressed by Bojan's striking rate - obviously had a few goals, because he loves to have a go at goal and obviously has a finish too May be a better foil to Crouch than Diouf as we started off in the line-up
