Diouf? He's not even the quickest player in our squad. Who is? Diouf is pretty rapid, only moses could give him competition. You've answered the question in your question, Odemwingie isn't slow neither. Just another bizarre morningmist situation where he's suggesting Diouf is the paciest Stoke City player ever. The mind boggles sometimes, if not all the time.

Vince Overson, based on no fcker ever ran past him or they'd end up in row z.

I'll also vote Hansen, he was rapid.
Thinking back, for a league 1 team, we had some good players back then.

I think over 80 yards Cameron is one of the fastest in our squad.

As a previous poster said, John Williams. I think it was his only asset if memory serves me correctly.

Well would definitely say he's one of the quickest we have had in years.

I don't think I've ever been do disappointed at the way a Stoke signing panned out. This bloke Williams, the winner of the Rumbelows Sprint Challenge, famously a former postman who used to outpace greyhounds, cheetahs and Ferraris on his morning round, plays five games for Stoke and nobody plays a single through ball for him to run on to, instead just lumping it for whichever useless other guy we had to head it instead. Tony Kelly was our Rumbelows contestant, wasn't he. Came last by miles.

Notable but unobvious mentions from the current squad.
Huth. Seem to remember him outpacing agbonlahor to the ball a couple of seasons ago. Once he gets going, obviously.
Nzonzi, on stride length alone.
Arnie aswell, but he's rarely at full pace.
EDIT: this obviously isn't ever, just the current squad.

Maybe it was before he joined Stoke but couldn't Dave Regis run 100m in around 10 seconds?

An outside shout admittedly, but I can just about remember watching Simon Sturridge as a kid (foggy memory to be fair) and thinking "this guys absolutely rapid, especially when running with the ball". I'm pretty sure I met him at one point although this was after his injury.
A while back I was going through some videos on YouTube and turns out I wasn't remember incorrectly:
In particular the goal at 48 seconds and 1:04 are both set up by Sturridge and show off some serious pace. Might not be the quickest overall but he certainly travelled when he was carrying the ball. Very underrated player for us imo, shame his career was cut short.
