Sorry to make reference to our ex manager but didn't he make reference to needing 200m to beat Man City at the Etihad as justification of another surrender?
Well we've not spent 200m and we've gone there and won by setting our stall out to be disciplined defensively yet to pose a threat at the other end.
We've got our rewards.
This Stoke City side can win anywhere against anyone and we can lose anywhere against anyone.
Today was a thing of beauty and the best 44 quid I've spent in a long time.
I park in the same spot each year at the Etihad and the walk back has always been horrible. Today, in the pissing down rain, it was wonderful.

As a forward and goal threat, he was about as much use as a traffic cone ;-) Walters aside, all of our players were magnificent including the much maligned Marc Wilson.
