...those of us who knew Man City were going to equalise at the death?
I was certain they would and had set my mind that I'd be happy with a point.
Happy days...

I would have taken a point before the game that's for sure, when we scored I knew we would win it.

I thought we'd be down 3 nil by half time, still in a state of shock

The Pompey game did us a load of good.
Didn't think we would win by this now proves we can beat anyone on our day.
You have to remember Liverpool lost there 3-1 under a week ago.
Happy day to be a stoke fan!!!!

Fucking hell I had us down for a 5 or 6 nil crunching. Never mind anything else. H Me too H. Took me everything to trudge up to my local for the second half, hand over eyes, only to glimpse a 0-0 scoreline and Stoke in total relaxed control. Unreal. The goal was pure Ric. That Joof is something. I can't see many living with this side. Really, I can't.

I honestly never thought they would score. After 15 mins I said we've got a great chance here as we looked very composed. Deep down I didn't think we would score but I really couldn't see us conceding

That back pass by Adam I thought here we go, but we held on. Honestly relieved but excited at the whistle.

The whole game seemed to be going the same way as the game at Chelsea with the Rory goal. I was convinced we would lose 2-1 to two late goals. Made the victory even sweeter.

Nail biting stuff at the end and I thought they were going to get at least one goal in the last 5 mins, but when the final whistle went I just went mental!

I predicted 5 - 0 to MCFC - am happy to so wrong. It's a coping mechanism for me - nothing personal! Just settling down to watch Game of the Day(recorded).

Watched the first half on the puter and had an inkling we could do it. Took the nippers out for the second half could barely watch so imagine the one man and two nippers mental in the playground at five to five!

Diouf. Who would of thought it. He seems like a proper good lad though. Will fit right in now. The goal will go down in folklore.

Being the dreadful pessimist I always am, I was sure that they would get a late equaliser followed by an even later winner. Oh, the relief and joy!! I thought back to Chelsea in our first Prem season (I think!!) and thought, 'here we go again'.

I knew we would win we were due one against them at their place, two poor displays then this a solid hardworking quality team effort. Well done Stoke well worth the result.

Very similar to Chelsea away when we had that lead from Rory Two quick goals turn a famous victory in to a undeserved defeat Always expect it. To be fair I expected a lot more "til the big team scores" added time

Went out for a walk as soon as we scored - I find watching/listening to an away game if we are hanging on to a one goal lead to be unbearable. Now have a firmly embeded superstition that if I avoid any contact with the game after we take the lead everything will be ok!

Now have a firmly embeded superstition that if I avoid any contact with the game after we take the lead everything will be ok! Its a very tiring superstition to get into Wuzza! I went out for a walk when we went 1-0 down in the first few minutes to Villa away last year. I'd covered about six miles when my son rang and said "You'd better get home for the highlights!"
