I think you are in a minority there. I thought he played well, and was what the team needed I know but it was than "a few missed tackles", I just thought he was shit tonight, nothing sinister, no agenda, I just thought he was cack!

Ohh I get ya, It just that it's his first game for stoke this season and by the assist alone' thats more contribution from any other stoke fullback this season. More impressed by him tonight than our starting fullbacks in their first two PL games... pretty sad to think. I know, it's no big issue, I still love him with all my heart but like I said, defensively he was awful, that's all.

The bigger issues is injuries and the fact our starting 11 can't go forward with the ball and have no off the ball movement and are getting bossed out and play like cack as you say lol For that alone I am worried.

Have to say i thought Huth appeared as if he needed a few games at least tonight to become match fit.
Just doesn't look quite right to me at the moment.

A stone over weight , slow , immobile and people were having a go at Hughes for picking Wilson. Wilson is a terrible CB, Muniesa should play there. A Stone !!.. surprised he could get his shorts on !

Is that what Mark and his team think? It is what mark and his team know and so does Robert. Be patient with him. Are you Davesviews?

Huth was fine I thought but I wouldn't start him in the league yet.
Thought both full backs were poor.

What I loved about Huthy being back was no fucker was letting the ball bounce prior to trying to defend it.
I absolutely loathe defenders letting the ball bounce!
Get you bastard head, foot, chest, face or whatever on it and defend the fooker!

Huth did okay but it was clear he is some way off, wouldn't be comfortable seeing him start in the Prem any time soon.

That shot that hit him full on in the face in the first half would have knocked a real human being out. I fucking love Huth. The 'slap' noise as it hit him was very loud, I think I'd still be lying there now with little birds flying round my head tweeting away.

Great news is that he is fit enough to feature and then play a full 90 minutes of football (albeit against a league 2 side)
He has not played Premiership football for quite a while, so this match was a good opportunity to see where he is in terms of fitness etc
Let's hope that there is no reaction (knee wise) and that he able to continue to progress.
I would expect MH to slowly reintroduce him to the team when he is good enough to merit a place

We need an experienced head bought in IMO. If huth isn't fit and Ryan went and got injured we would be fucked. Dawson would have been a decent shout but he's gone to hull.

I agree with this We have a good influx of attacking players who should start to deliver as they become established at the club With GC carrying an slight injury I cannot see him departing in this window - do we have space for another player if we do not release anyone else? I realise that we do have the opportunity for another loan if possible

Wilson is slow anyway so Huth overweight is still probably quicker! Wilson is like a oil tanker on the turn far too pedestrian

Muniesa's slide tackle is in the highlights package in the other thread on about 3.40. I still don't know it's possible he missed the ball!
