I know he probably wasn't particularly troubled... but how did he look?
Sharp / sluggish / solid / any other adjectives beginning with S?

A stone over weight , slow , immobile and people were having a go at Hughes for picking Wilson.

Did the centre backs launch it to crouch or give it to midfield?

That shot that hit him full on in the face in the first half would have knocked a real human being out.
I fucking love Huth.

You obviously have to remember who the opposition was, but there was nothing whatsoever wrong with his performance tonight.

Hughes and the staff aren't stupid. They know Huth is better than Wilson. If he's not playing there will be sensible reasons why.

With acknowledgement to the opposition Huth was strong and pretty formidable, didnt put a foot wrong. Muni had a good game, some wicked crosses. Certainly no worse than Pieters! Wingie had a poor game again, wasnt even in the game at all in the second half!

Wingie wasn't even mentioned at all on either the radio or live ticker. Missed loads of tackles and just defended pretty awfully. Brilliant ball for the goal but he defended badly tonight. Summed up by his slide tackle in the box near the end.... Wingie wasn't mentioned for a reason!

Huh, I thought he was more attack minded and forward actually tonight by design and was to busy getting an assist and setting up passes, something we miss dearly with pieters as of late... I thought his style like Adam's tonight was a bit refreshing, we had no slow build-up through the midfield by just passing to just pass. To each his own... I'd have Moses, Muni and Adam start this weekend just because they look forward.

Moses will start, I can't see Adam starting just because he won't be given the time he had on the ball tonight. Adam was ace btw don't get me wrong! Sidwell surprised me with his range of passing tbh, I didn't think he had it in him.

Sidwell surprised me with his range of passing tbh, I didn't think he had it in him. He's had brilliant games and knowing the opposition I bet he was let free by hughes to venture forward on the counter with Wilko staying back. Much like Cameron last season, hughes loves wingbacks and seeing the assist, that will delight him more than a few missed tackles. Case in point Wilson and Pieters versus hull... missed tackles galore. Steve Sidwell is a great passer, he was Fulham's glue last year without him they'd have even more losses but he's now a bit off the pace' going forward, whereas Hughes might team him up with Nzonzi because of Whelan's ankle and Cameron's injury after a good cameo left him little choice for CDM/ CM. I'd have sidwell behind Nzonzi' to make Steven venture forward. That Adam always gets me, he's just a great attacker, I want him on to get us going all the time surely he's worth a go later on, if Arnie or Moses get tired, but like you said they'll pester him early.

Ohh I get ya, It just that it's his first game for stoke this season and by the assist alone' thats more contribution from any other stoke fullback this season. More impressed by him tonight than our starting fullbacks in their first two PL games... pretty sad to think.
