Now we can all see what he's about -excellent performance, pace to burn -and a finish
could see Citeh were really worried about his pace -could've had a penno too
well done son - keep proving me wrong !

Who says people aren't enjoying it? Look at the I told you so posts! Fuck I told you so. Diouf for 2 games was horrific. Today he wasn't great but scored a bloody good goal. That ends it. He was excellent today.

It's got nothing to do with "I told you so" plenty of people had their own agendas's on here regarding Diouf, some people are unbelievable. Agendas?? Grow up. He had two very poor games and contributed nothing. He's voted a good goal today and won us a game. Hard off to the lad I hope we see more of it.

He really was fantastic today, so glad he carried on running, I was saying to myself "Keep goinggg" he had made some passes before where I felt he could have gone alone, so glad he did. The finish wasn't the best though, Hart really should have done better, but a goal is a goal! Well done Diouf, my MOTM today.

I think it's fair game to point out that anyone posting things like 'Mame Biram Pericard' looks quite the dickhead tonight. Do they, because before today he did, you are allowed to comment on people being poor in a game you know. Looks much better with space to run into rather than a loan striker.

It's a shame that people on this board never learn.
Give players at least a fucking chance before throwing them on the shitheap.

Understood, but perhaps people feel vindicated after the slagging Diouf got!! Some on here will never learn the lesson. I think it is absolutely right that we now let them know how stupid they were Either way, what a fucking win mate!! So proud of our lads today. It feels good dunna it,beating one of the big boys away from home was the one thing missing from our time back In the top league. The only downside being that I wasn't there to see it Oh well I'm gonna enjoy it with a few beers all the same. Feels soooo good!! Gutted I wasn't there either... But still gonna sink a few too!! I think this will be a real confidence boost to the whole team

I think he can be better. He put a good shift in and scored a winning goal so in itself that's a good performance, but at times again his touch was poor. But it's getting better. He could become a fantastic signing. When he settles which hopefully that goal will help him to

Some on here were saying hes shite before a ball was kicked this season, then took much delight when he didn't prefom against villa and hull. Go look through the beginning of this thread, he was excellent today.

Looked ordinary/poor with back to goal but give the lad some space to exploit and he's a real handful for any defender.
Hughes has so many options it's gonna' take a while to fine tune but when we eventually find the magic formula it'll be quite special...

Think he's a German TV pundit now.
Jan Aage Fjortoft ?@janaagefjortoft 20m Stoke beat Manchester City away from home 1-0. Diouf the goalscorer. Have always rated him. Biggest upset of the weekend I guess
Today was a totally different set-up to last week and it suited him to a tee. Ran himself into the ground and looked absolutely rapid.
Just hope we know how to use him properly next time we're set a different challenge. Still not sure operating as a lone striker, with his back largely to goal, is remotely his thing. But if we can use his pace and energy and eye for goal, he could be an asset and a half. Over to Hughes to try and work out that puzzle
The good news is his confidence will now be through the roof.

That's his third game for us and he does that, how many did sidibe and pericard score for us in total

I'll take back what I said about him but he sure is no target man and has to play alongside Crouch, same goes for Bojan.
Crouch will be an important player this season by the looks for it.
