No one other than TP and Parrish really knows. TP should be allowed to sign who he wants within an agreed structure. If that demarcation was not clearly nailed down at the beginning then problems are bound to arise in interpretation and expectations. The problem, I suspect, in football is that these kind of discussions are never formalized. What is so difficult about telling a manager he has a transfer budget of x and a wage budget of y and then let him get on with working within those guidelines? Sure, you will need to dot the i's and cross the t's but they have legal teams who can knock up an agreement in no time. Add it to the Manager's T&C's, link it to bonuses and away you go. What could possibly go wrong? A handshake based on a chat in the pub causes all kinds of problems.

Sorry mate. Missed this. Prem and championship level yes I think. Lost his pace which what his game was all about. He's not the type that can move into the middle like some wingers, so on that basis I think he's past it. :-)

Bizarrely Adrian Durham on Talksport gave the view earlier that TP left Palarse because he wanted to bring 3 x £50K a week players in : Crouch, Walters and Etherington ! why would anyone believe anything that cunt says?
