I think our team against hull should be: ----------------Bego-------------- Bardsley Ryan Huth pieters ------Sidwell---Nzonzi-------- ------------bojan-------------- Arnie-----doiuf-----odemwingie Swap wingers surely? I assume that was an accident

Dont understand why anyone would contemplate moses. If wingie is ready he has to play. New signings need time to properly bed in before we play too many at the same at the same time.
By the end of the season I wouldnt be suprised is 5 or 6 of the regulars are new signings but for now 2 or 3 is plenty.
Btw I reserve the right for this to be ignored if moses plays and has a stormer! ;-)

Putting bojan in midfield would be a very bad decision. He is a striker. We would be unbalanced against a very organised hard working team in hull. Just bring in adam and odemwingie and rest bojan.

Do you reckon it's a straight choice of Diouf or Bojan then Pete? You wouldn't play him anywhere else?

He's probably got a ribbing from his teammates after his performance against the Villa He may have been struggling with it during the Villa game? Might explain his lacklustre performance? He got a right clattering indirectly from Keane midway through the first half against Villa

I wouldn't have Bojan anywhere near the starting 11.
I'd start with Crouch, Odem, Adam and Arnie up front with Huth in central defence.

He doesn't look the part wide right and isn't yet up to the tracking back he would need to do there. If he plays then he has to either play up front in place of Diouf or in the number 10 position behind Diouf. He looks suited to attacking from deep. I doubt if I would start him (yet) in the hole against top opposition but, against Hull it seems to be the logical place to start him. Playing deep will suit his attacking play - only time will tell if he has the awareness to play the creative role that the number 10 position demands - but he's come from Barca so I'd say he probably has the technical ability to play there.

I don't think he is physically strong enough to play yet. That open goal he missed when Bardsley's shot was parried went begging because he didn't have the strength to even get his shot in even though it was 90:10 in his favour to get there first. I wouldn't even have him on the bench - yet. Let's give the lad a couple of months to build up his upper body strength and become accustomed to tracking back and keeping the shape of teams in the Prem and then we will have a good player. We didn't drop Muni straight in the team - we gave him time to develop himself for English football.

Matt Sandoz ?@mattsandoz1 Stoke team news. Hughes says Stephen Ireland could be out for several weeks with a rib injury.
It'll be interesting to see if Adam remotely comes into his thoughts for a start, or whether he just rolls the dice with Bojan I don't think it's really rolling the dice, he hasn't been given a chance yet, he needs at least one right? Adam is a proven player and will no doubt feature in Hughes plans. Be positive

Play a solid three of Sidwell, Whelan and NZonzi, with the latter being the furthest forward.
Front three of Odemwingie, Diouf and Arnautovic.

Do you reckon it's a straight choice of Diouf or Bojan then Pete? You wouldn't play him anywhere else? No doubt for me in our system he has to compete with Diouf for the lone striker role, a position which I think Diouf will grow into and be perfect for. I'm still not sure whether Bojan can develop into being good at the wide roles,Odemwingie and Arnie have been perfect in those positions for the second half of last season. I'm not sure Bojan will be as disciplined in tracking back then finding space in behind their full backs. Hopefully he will remodel his game a bit and develop, he certainly has immense ability but I wouldn't have him as a starter, he needs to learn his role in this system. I think this has been Bojan's problem. At the very top teams he is not quite good enough to be the lone striker but he is not really a midfielder or wide player. For me needs to be a main striker and needs to be given time, but here we have Diouf who I think will be a first pick,so Hughes is trying to squeeze him in somewhere else.

Me thinks that this is just an excuse for MH to drop his love child that wouldnt surprise me in the least, tp used to do it if he wanted to "rest/drop" a player.something has to give after sat we never looked like scoring, wingy's pace could be the key.

At least we have options , certainly too lightweight last week with him and Bojan on at the same time and Adam is also able to play there
