Bojan behind Diouf?
MH: Stephen Ireland has a rib problem. It's difficult to put a time scale on that at the moment...

I think that makes the team selection a lot easier.

Either that or pack the midfield with Sidwell - Whelan - N'zonzi

I think that makes the team selection a lot easier. My thoughts exactly mate. Bojan behind, Odemwingie on the right.

Matt Sandoz ?@mattsandoz1 Stoke team news. Hughes says Stephen Ireland could be out for several weeks with a rib injury.
It'll be interesting to see if Adam remotely comes into his thoughts for a start, or whether he just rolls the dice with Bojan

I'd play Bojan behind Diouf with Moses/ Odemwingie on the wing.

Might explain his lacklustre performance?

That beard will be growing for a few weeks This has forced Mark's hand to play Bojan or Adam behind the striker....only a good thing.

I never like to see one of our players injured, but this does make it easier to play Bojan behind the striker and restore Odemwingie to the right side of the attack, which should give us a bit more pace and purpose going forward and allow Bojan to work between the lines and drift around, as well as give the right back even a modicum of cover.

Is Moses left or right side? If right, Arnie on the left, Bojan behind and Moses right?

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards Moses is right footed but he has played regularly on the left and on the right - and he can play as second striker as well. I suspect for the hull game we'll see Arnie on the left and Wingie for 60 minutes on the right to be replaced by Moses after 60 minutes or so. neither are fully match fit so it makes sense for one to replace the other.

Would agree - you cannot keep overlooking Wingie for anyone new. Moses on the bench putting pressure upon the plsyers in the team. Perform or get replaced!

In what way did Arnie look unfit?
He looked fit to me, certainly fitter than he looked at any point last season and in the Betis game, he looked razor sharp and lightening fast.

Think those quotes were given to the official site yesterday. Today, he seemed more minded to chuck him in. SentinelVictor Moses... MH: There is a decision to be made. He hasn't had much football, 13 minutes in pre-season. But saying that he's looked really sharp in training, maybe the answer is to throw him in and see how he goes. But it's important we get him at the right levels for the right games.
