If you like your curry hot, and fancy a challenge, Jalfrezi have a new one on the menu called 'The Godfather', and it's a monster I like 'em hot and love a good Vindaloo or Phaal, but this one is the hottest one I've ever had. My head was spinning and it's the only time I've asked for a glass of milk in a restaurant. My pee stung a bit afterwards too. According to the waiter, they don't use Ghost Chilli, just regular chillies that they have a special way of cooking. It's a good, friendly service too,far better than the over-rated Rose of Kashmir up the road, and I've always had a nice meal there. Yes, I will order The Godfather again, but next time I'll have a dish of mint yoghurt as a side! Not far behind it is the Phaal from Shalimar, but this was in another league.

Going have to give it a go though,me gobs watering at the thought of it.i've just had a vindaloo aswell. Try the kismets bengal naga, its not mega hot(unless a korma stings ya ring) but its the tastiest curry i've ever had anywhere in the country. Its just amazing, truly fucking amazing.

Don't go over vindaloo hot any longer and then only because I wouldn't be able to appreciate anything less as my tastebuds are shot when I've been smoking & drinking all day. Last time I had a seriously hot one was an egg phaal in Whistable after a Stoke/Gillingham game. Felt like I was tripping and the inside of my ears were burning!!!

I can't enjoy anything hotter than a Madras Me neither. Szechuan cooking is popular in these parts. I dont get the attraction of eating something so hot you cant actually taste it.

Apparently, PP realised what had happened when he noticed little Trevor's ID ring glistening in the sauce of his half-eaten vindaloo.

I've seen a few places using ghost chillies to cook but they're down to 3rd or even 4th now on the heat scale. The thing is with the superhot chillies if you can handle the heat, there is a taste to them as well. Been growing my own now for over a year they make some cracking dishes.

Trinidad scorpion is the new kid on the block- I doubt I'd go above a Ghost Chilli though
