I've seen enough of Bojan tonight to declare myself well and truly in with the jizzfest.
Here and now, I confidently predict that if he can cope with the physical demands of our league, he is going to be an absolute gem.
Very, very impressive tonight. Sublime finish and unbelievable vision.
Ireland was great, Bardsley very impressive and N'zonzi was like a rolls royce purring amongst a bunch of Ford Escorts.
Bojan though. There has to be some catch surely?
I've bought my little un's home shirt with me as I'm in Stoke for a couple of days and have now agreed that he can have 27 Bojan on it.
I'm in! Bojan is the man :-)

Experience tells me not to make judgements from friendlies.....getting difficult not to be excited now though...

Im old enough to remember Henrik Risom running around like Zidane, only to start wellying it into Row Z when the season started but I'm bubbling with this one.

Risom was a quality player.....about 10 years before he signed for us. Bojan is 23.
Scary!

He's tweeted about how pleased he is with his first home goal and that he hopes to bring us much joy over the coming season.
WHY IS HE SO ADORABLE?!

Henrik Risom? Blimey, that's one from the vaults. Or should that be faults?

Lots of good signs tonight, Zonz was quality, lots of positive forward play from him. Agree re Bojan, keep him fit and keen and we have a star on our hands, he does remind me of Pesch alot though (only better obviously). Looks like Wilson may get the nod over Huthy, and probably rightly so, he improved no end last season, being comfortable on the ball is a big plus. Ireland linked everything up well, Whelan was Whelan and Arnie was tops too. Shame Muniesa took a knock with more or less his first touch. I can se Bardsley getting a few assists too. Good night all in all, went rather ragged with all the changes but hey ho, roll on Villa.

He seems very modest, very down to earth, he's always smiling and has time for fans. A bit like muniesa really and, come to think of it, messi.

I don't give a fuck about friendlies, or the results, but one thing is for fucking sure, this lad knows where the onion bag is and that is something we have been begging for, for some time.

On what I've seen tonight my only fear is that his speed of thought and vision on the pitch may be a little better than some of those around him, but boy oh boy does he look class. Can't wait for the game where he waltz's around 3 defenders and nutmegs the keeper only for Shearer to say Bojan's not a team player et al.

His movements without the ball are so good and the important thing is to have the others around him synchronized on his wavelength

I see your Risom and raise you Dave Brammer. He had a fantastic pre season for us in 2004, he came with a reputation as a ball playing creative midfielder with an eye for a wonder goal and he looked like the missing piece in the jigsaw of our team at the time. The season then started and he was slow, crab like and shit for 95% of his time at Stoke.
Pre season means nothing so I'm not going to get excited just yet.

90% of this mb would of told him ( in their words ) to fuck off before he signed as he had the audacity to think long and hard before making a career decision
He's a gem

Don't worry he will drag the rest of the lads into the promised land of a top 8 finish and a League Cup win.

To have got him on loan would have been a coup. But to sign him on a 4 year deal! And for 3 fucking million! If ever there was a time to jizz yourself, this is definitely it.

One thing that will be interesting see the players reactions on our team is when other teams start to tackle him unfairly, like Fulham picking on Assaidi's bad leg, I wonder how protective our players will be of Bojan...
How is Bojan keeping hold of the ball when attempting to be tackled?

He did dive a couple of times 1st half, and was knocked off the ball a couple of times but overall he gave a good account of himself.

Judging a player's ability in a friendly is the same as judging his ability from the warm-up.
Friendlies mean nothing, no matter how much Sky Sports try to tell you otherwise.

Less than a million, according to Bowen. If true that is insane. There must be some clause in his contract that we aren't aware of yet. Sounds too good to be true.
