I've seen a few websites that have reported the Bojan fee in the millions one a specific transfer spending website I think most sites gave it as £3 million to start with, but Bowen gave an interview the day after we signed him saying that the transfer fee was less than £1 million. Obviously there was also a signing on fee - but that's true of most transfers in the Prem.

I just think there is a certain element of guesswork involved even in the 90 Bizillion quid Tone was supposed to have spent I don't think we ever paid Spurs the full reported price for Palacios and Crouch did we.

Talksport is ok if you're selective. I can't do with Micky Quinn, Colin Murray, Adrian Durham, Sam Delaney, Mark Saggers nor Bobby Gould. But The Transfer Tavern, The Press Pass, Fishermen's Blues, Alan Brazil, Stan Collymore and johnny Vaughn are great. Each to their own, knocks spots off the preachy and condescending 5Live.

I thought we'd sold Kightly? Yes, that's why I said that the TalkSport figure for Stoke Sales obviously does not contain sales to Burnley!

It's in his and the clubs interest to reduce the price on him, as less money equals less expectation. It's an absolute wildcard transfer and the fee could be anywhere between 500k and 5m. Due to the lack of transparency in football, I imagine no-one apart from the inner ring of the club has any clue what the fee is.

I think if you use fees that are generally accepted on here then you won't go far wrong. Like this Bojan one we've seen the story develop and know it's less than a million, they (these websites) won't give a shit.
