A song, I have heard other teams use the tune (Take Me Home, Country Roads) but I think this works well - Take me home ST4 Is the place Where I belong Mark Hughes' army On the Boothen Take me home ST4 Any thoughts? Not enough swearing? Can't sing it 'cos the shit sing it? Thought I may as well share it, I've been singing it walking around work for weeks

Wouldn't want to let Manure fans think that we would copy their song. No thanks!

Just a hunch but I don't think Ely lives in ST4 either But there's room for a lot of Geographical misunderstanding here. We'd be in ST4 when singing it. Unless we only sang it at away games, then it would be geographically correct for Hanford dwellers and free bus bastards who would be going back to ST4. Other than that I like it.

We desperately need a new staged anthem to compliment Delilah and Oh When the Reds which have lost their luster through over use. However I'm not convinced this offering from the late Rocky Mountain troubadour is it though. Flights of whimsy are not really us.

"Stoke is a shithole, I want to stay here" Speak for yourself! haha I've often smirked to myself when other clubs sing "stoke is a shithole" thinking to my self "We know, we live here ever day of every week, tell us something new"

We desperately need a new staged anthem to compliment Delilah and Oh When the Reds which have lost their luster through over use. We've already got one, "We'll Be With You", easily one of the best songs in football & unique to us, unyet for some bizzare reason we never sing it.

Calgary potter, was in Calgary on the 6th and 7th July. Saw a bit of the stampede. Enjoyed the bit's that we saw! Then went on a coach journey, taking in Banff, Jasper, Kamloops, Victoria and Vancouver. Cruised the Alaska straits, and then finished off with another two nights in Vancouver. Absolutely fantastic!

'Four' doesn't rhyme or have the correct assonance to work with 'home'. That's one slight issue with this idea.
Home and roads can be sung to sound similar but i'm not sure how four (sure and four would work by the way) and home could be made to sound like a rhyme.
It's like the co-op, their stroke of genius when they wondered "How can we rhyme 'good' with 'food'?"
Answer, get a Scottish voice-over to turn it into "The co-operative, gud with fud"
What accent can we use to make home and four sound the same? I haven't a clue.
EDIT: I've also noticed that...
Mark Hughes' army On the Boothen
Wouldn't work as a rhyme either. I'm so picky.

I know what you mean but I suspect in the end 'We'll Be With You' is just too damn cheerful a ditty to lend itself to this purpose, "Allegro" I believe is the musical term to describe something so brisk.
