Is he back in pre-season with us? Yes. Probably because no one else wants him including clubs in the US.

There are more US based clubmembers than ever for SCFC. Also more US kit sales and followers than ever before. Shea, Cameron and Edu certainty helped that no doubt. I was part of a 8 person trip to the brit from the US this last season. 7 out of 8 not only was it there first time to England, they choose Stoke because of the US players and team attitude. Theres more stokies over here than you could imagine. I basically was a tour guide. They loved oatcakes btw. Its taking off over here. So you're saying it was a contingent of fan boys. interested observer - you really are doing a great job of showing off Stoke's friendly nature towards new fans from other countries!

PR for what? How to throw bread around in a video with Edu or how to look a twat whilst holding a pair of massive guns? I witnessed a diplomatic incident in Istanbul when Stoke started throwing rolls during the Bread-Song. Unbeknownst to us, bread is sacred in Turkey & should never be thrown on the floor. The local men were up in arms, women wailing, children crying. What an embarrassment!!!

HAHA most US soccer fan-boys are white and desire a white idol. Nobody likes Edu, expect real American soccer fans that watch futbol all the time. Kyle Beckermens dreads are just too cool. Beckermen has a solid touch, but Edu can play the sweeper role on a decent Euro-trash with the Ranger and in Turkey.

I bet most "soccer fans" in the US are in fact Latino, or European immigrnats although I can't conduct a poll to confirm this, but I'd bet I was right if it came down to it.

Quit spouting off your racist shit on here: "most us fan boys are white and desire a white idol" you sound so stupid when you say $hit like that. And FYI you are NOT the voice of reason regarding football/soccer in the US, Bayern Oatcake is so knock it off before he has your back doors knocked in.

If Hughes doesn't think he's good enough for the first team shirt I'm happy to believe he isn't good enough.

Yes but it comes down to TV contracts and advertisements. Spanish channel always has it's own version of USA games. The white biast is used to target preppy middle class America. Sorry for sounding like this but it's true. Watch a production of ESPN Soccer and you will shit yourself.

You don't have to like what I say but it's true. USA and the MLS barely breaks even, they need to be as TV friendly as possible. Think about Shea >= Juan Agedulo? Watch the game tape and something doesn't add up. If Shea makes 20 appearances for Stoke his shirts will be #1 in America.

The most popular young player in America is Deandre Yedlin, who's not the least bit white.....

If that is the case why did the MLS spend so much on Thierry Henry and Jermain Defoe? I like your spunk but you are just wrong. Klinnsman and American fans like Shea because he is quirky and has talent. Hopefully he realizes his potential.

Your ad hominem statements are extremely pointless. Don't you understand that? Nicest way of saying Shea is overated because he has so many fans based off his appearance rather then game play. Please show me a full game clip of Shea looking solid. Stoke signed a kid that lacks basic dribbling abilities because the USA marketed a League 1 player as the next American Hero.

Fans of his like him because he shows flashes of quality. Those that dont are frusterated by his inconsistancy. How do you explain all the love for Tim Howard, Jozy Altidore, Demarcus Beasley, Yedlin, Jermaine Jones and Julian Green?
And for Freddy Adu before he washed out?

Not sure how Shea scoring a goal will make him more popular and sequentially cause Yedlin to become more popular... Maybe it has to do with the haircuts???

and that he can play fullback in a pinch? Neither did I. Brek Shea (Stoke City) - Assuming he actually gets to play somewhere, Klinsmann would really like to have Brek Shea at his disposal. He's the team's only true left-footed left winger, an incredible athlete, a great defensive winger and a fullback in a pinch. Basically, he's left-sided DeAndre Yedlin. Problem is, he's not playing a lot of competitive soccer. He needs a great loan or a transfer from Stoke, ASAP.www.sbnation.com/soccer/2014/7/3/5864221/potential-usmnt-players-to-watch-during-the-2018-world-cup-cycleNevermind that, I've just watched a foreign film called Oi Sono L'Amore where Tilda Swinton $#@&$ some beardy Italian fella & it's like watching Tim Howard rogering Brek. Fetch me the mind bleach quick!!!
